I am in my late 40s so I watched the series each week starting with season 2 (that is when it came to Canada). It is funny to look back at how my friends and I disected every episode and we knew it had peeked at season 5 when season 7 hit. Many argue that season 6 is the best but for us Season 5 was just incredible and we all agreed there was a decline in quality with season 6. I even remmebr us calling the end for the Simpsons after the second spisode of season 7. Nothing will top the out of control laughter we shared watching "Homer Goes to College" in 1993, "Dropped his notes!" might be the best joke ever written.

My musical pick would be Stop The Planet of the Apes, I Want To Get Off, with "I hate every ape I see, from chimpan A to chimpanzee" being one of the greatest lines ever. As for lines... well, I'm old and obese so it's not really all that funny, but I gotta love "imaginary future fat hillbilly Lisa" and the line "I warsh myself with a rag on a stick".
