I have been waiting hopefully for YEARS for that. The Military is my favorite old standby, Go to War knife but I really wish they would apply the same changes made from the Paramilitary to the Para 2. There has been promising talk of it from Sal himself but I understand as Eric is explaining here, it is not a simple matter of just plastering features together.
It's a figure of speech in the context here you dim wit. And as a matter of fact, yes I have served (06-09 22 REG 1PPCLI BG) but that is a completely different subject.
*Question:* Can knives be used as weapons for self defense or are they *STRICTLY* tools and should be never used for the previous intention!? I would love to hear the opinions of the internet ...
My favorite is probably the WHALE RESCUE BLADE™ H-1® because it's very versatile and offers really comfortable pocket carry and really discreet considering the fairly long cutting length you get.
Yeah i love it's versatility, I often use mine as a dedicated intricate fruit carving knife. Even for close quarter combat against the mighty dolphin they can work wonders with the reverse linear horizontal grip.
Spyderco has finally done it, they made my dream knife I can't wait for the Shaman to be in my hands. My favorite Spyderco that I own is the manix 2 xl I know a lot of people hate how big in pocket it is, but it just fits my giant hands so well, it is my go to knife if I'm camping or going to be doing heavy work.
It sounds so unoriginal, I'm sure, but I just LOVE my PM2! DigiCam, satin blade, plain edge perfection! Thanks for the chance to win! I'm glad you're back at BladeHQ Ben!
Don't need a gift to give a thumbs up with Spyderco! Started with the Endura almost 30 years ago. No need to change my model as the original model was close to perfection.
My favorite Spydie is Spyderco Spy-DK. I have used it for a while and love the ergonomics that the blade offer. Really good handle to keep your hand stable and the blade material is fantastic (N690). Got it from Blade HQ, thank you you guy for the opportunity. I have subscribe Blade HQ for a while and love your guy excellent service. Best blade website on the world, always support the channel 🇺🇸👍
There are so many great models but the one I go to the most for edc is definitely the Sage 5. Just love that 3" blade, compression lock, and wire clip!
My one and only spyderco so far is an orange FRN Dragonfly. Small, light and sharp! Several weeks of use and it still cuts paper. Handy little bugger that one.
I used to always carry a knife to work, and over time it was always the Spyderco Tenacious. It has the size for what I need and the price point is great, because work was very hard on my knifes and if something happened to it, I can buy another one. Shout out to the Spyderco Ambitious for the same reasons, but has its own merits in the less than 3 inch blade length.
Love the design behind the new Little Native. Didn't think I would like smaller knives under 3 inches, but I got a Dragonfly for Father's Day last year and it really changed my opinion of knives that size. Small, light, and able to do most EDC knife tasks efficiently, thats what many of us prefer for EDC. OTOH, I just got my first Manix 2 Lightweight with S110V steel. What a great design Eric. The S110V seems to be sharper than any other Spyderco I have had and it stays that way for a long time. Combine that with the sub 3 oz weight and you have a phenomenal blade that can go almost anywhere you go. Thanks for all you do Blade HQ and Spyderco.
After years of wanting one I finally got my Manix 2 with the dark blue G10 and love it. Started my granddaughter on her Delica collection about three years ago, she has three now but there more colors out there... She has a Native too.
Slight edge goes to the Manix 2 lightweight. I dig the wire pocket clip, and the fact it's so light is what gives it the slight edge. I just ordered the autonomy for work, Orange handle. Hopefully it gives the Manix a run for its money!
Eric is a great guy and extremely cool to talk to. I got to speak to him at Blade and he gave me a full rundown of all the new blades, including telling me all about how H1 is made. I handled the Shaman and damn I cant wait for that one, probably be my all time most carried Spyderco.
Personally I cannot wait for the little native compression lock, it looks awesome. I just hope that it's not too expensive. Keep up the good work spyderco!
I love my PM2 and my Karahawk but I have got to say there is something special about the Endura 4, I got mine from Blade HQ in Zome green and it's a beautiful piece of functional art!
I still talk about Spyderco products. Mine got stolen while I was in college (it was a Damascus steel Endura 4 with Titanium Body) but I still get friends to buy them all the time. I love these knives!
The Native 5 is definitely my all time favorite. From the moment I got it, it has been always among the top no matter what price point. Dragonfly comes close second, I have never felt better ergos in knives. Great stuff guys I'm looking forward to both of these models!
I love the Shaman, cant wait for that to hit the shelves. My favorite Spyderco? Thats a tough one, I like so many of them, but I will have to go with one that I still own and carry occasionally, the Ocelot.
The Shaman looks very interesting and I like the unique saber cut and smooth G10. I'll be looking to add that to my collection in 90 days ;) . My current favorite is the Para2. I really appreciate the compression lock.
Love spyderco! My first edc of there's was a tenacious, now i carry a salt pacific 2 for the h1. Even got my dad on the bandwagon this year for his birthday with a delica 4 in titanium and damascus.
love my s110v Manix light weight. can't believe I missed the Spyderco booth at blade show, walked by twice and so many people like 4 deep just kept going. definitely check them out next year.
My favorite spyderco is the Manix 2 LW with translucent blue scales. Amazing knife that doesn't bog down the pocket. I do have my first Delica in the mail though, so we shall see...
My favorite Spyderco was my Sage 2, that I regrettably sold. I think the Para 3, that mini Native compression lock, or Shaman are perfect to get me back into Spydercos.
I love all Spyderco products. But my most favorite EDC's are the Paramilitary 2, and the Manix 2 lightweight CPM-S110V. Love my Spyderco knives. Thanks BHQ for the video, and thanks to Eric, and Sal for a great quality product. 👍
Glad to see the American made knives. I've had my eye on spyderco for a long time but lack of American made has kept me away. This news gives me hope we'll see more of the same. Bring it home guys !! Love my new ZT by the way. Thanks BladeHQ
Pretty excited for these ones. It's so hard to pick one favorite Spydie, but I have to go with my trusty endura simply because it's my go-to work knife for the last 5+ years and I know/trust it like the back of my hand.
My favorite Spyderco is the Delica 4 mostly because it was my first knife but it has lasted for a long time so it is definitely my favorite out of all my knives
I just got a Sage 5 about a month ago. It's actually my first Spiderco, so it's automatically my favorite, but wow, I can't believe I didn't buy a Spiderco sooner. The compression lock is awesome, I think I like it better than my Benchmade Axis locks! Definitely one of the most carried knives in my collection.
I would love the pin! I collect pins and spyderco is my favorite knife company, I've been carrying the g10 dragonfly for years now, it's the perfect knife imo!
My favorite is my Yojimbo with its sweet compression lock. I need a Shaman now. Too cool. Ben always has good chemistry with everyone; keep up the good work and wish I was there at blade show!
Simply the best knive company,I personally think that Spyderco gives the customer more options styles and the quality and affordable prices make their knives heads above others,I live in Cedar City Utah and Blade HQ also is an amazing company and i'm not just saying that because their in Utah i'ts because they too offer all the models at a very respectable price.Thank you for the great work!!
Been wanting an endura for years and my girlfriend finally got one for me. money was kinda tight back then. so it's actually the sentimental value that makes it my favorite. :)
My favorite spyderco that I own is my Dragonfly 2 in H1 steel with yellow handles.I am definitely looking forward to the Shaman with the compression lock.
The Giveaway portion of the video has ended! Thank you to all who participated, one day we will have enough Spyderco gummies to send to each and every one of you. Keep living that #KnifeAddict life!

Met him a few times at the Amsterdam meet.
Really a down to earth guy with a friendy attitude.
I'm glad to see the line up of knives with the compression lock growing. I'd love to see the military with a compression lock!
HowAmI and a tip up clip lol
I forgot it is tip down only. Tip up is a must.
I have been waiting hopefully for YEARS for that. The Military is my favorite old standby, Go to War knife but I really wish they would apply the same changes made from the Paramilitary to the Para 2. Maxwell Bao lol. Yeah it's definitely pocket friendly.

Maxwell Bao LOL
My favorite Spyderco is my PM2. It's been my EDC for years. EDC perfection
Nice to see Eric getting more comfortable in front of the camera. His passion for their products is really showing.
Spyderco rules period. First spydie was a worker back in the late eighties. Love the enthusiasm Eric has!
It sounds so unoriginal, I'm sure, but I just LOVE my PM2! DigiCam, satin blade, plain edge perfection! Thanks for the chance to win! I'm glad you're back at BladeHQ Ben!
Paramilitary 2 sprint run in M4, 1 year of hard use and its still sharp with a good stropping every now and then. Love my Spyderco's.
Favorite spyderco is the pm3. Everything I love about the pm2 in an easier to carry package.
Eric is the best. It's not always easy transferring energy and enthusiasm. He does it with such professionalism.
My favorite is the salt 1. It is the most carefree knife I have ever owned and goes with me to work everyday and every camping trip for food prep!
My favorite Spyderco, hands down, is the blurple Para 2 in S110V. Ultra-tough steel, great looks, awesome knife. You can't go wrong with it!
I love the Shaman with the compression lock, just like my PM2!!
Eric is so genuinely excited about his products and I love that.
My favorite Spydie is my Manix 2 XL.
Don't need a gift to give a thumbs up with Spyderco! Started with the Endura almost 30 years ago. No need to change my model as the original model was close to perfection.

After years of wanting one I finally got my Manix 2 with the dark blue G10 and love it.
Started my granddaughter on her Delica collection about three years ago, she has three now but there more colors out there...
She has a Native too.
I don't know if i can pick a favorite Spyderco but Spyderco as a whole is on of my favorites. Great budget knives and great high end knives.
Slight edge goes to the Manix 2 lightweight. I dig the wire pocket clip, and the fact it's so light is what gives it the slight edge. I just ordered the autonomy for work, Orange handle. Hopefully it gives the Manix a run for its money!
Love my paramilitary 1 in coated S30V. The sizing is perfect and edge retention wonderful for my needs.
Eric is a great guy and extremely cool to talk to. I got to speak to him at Blade and he gave me a full rundown of all the new blades, including telling me all about how H1 is made. I handled the Shaman and damn I cant wait for that one, probably be my all time most carried Spyderco.
