After losing my house and knife collection during hurricane Milton I am finally starting to rebuild my life and get back into collecting ( although I'll never get back the sentimental knives such as the first knife my late father gave me ). I just wanted to say I appreciate you guys making video guides like these to help showcase these knives and what they look like in hand which definitely makes a difference when buying. Would have loved to win the giveaway but unfortunately missed the live. Keep up the good work it's channels like this that are helping me get through some of the most challenging points in my life currently!
@bladehq do you think we could get an updated steel guide any time soon? I’d love to see 15v, 10v, Rex 121, spy27, (basically newer modern steels) added in
It's honestly really good. I love the handle on it, and I've found that I don't prefer rings on Karambits. I'm not much of a Karambit fan, but if I were in the market for one, I'd take it. Not too many Karambits with no rings out there, but hopefully this starts a trend! -George
I actually did pick up the Dawnstar. I'd give it a 3/5. Just too light in the handle, poor overall tolerances(rattles when open etc) and thin blade stock. Not a fan of the factory edge either. Some of these are fixable, others not as much. This is a $20 knife masquerading as a Kershaw imo. Cool to own a hawkbill though and the flip out is decently satisfying.
It's my cheap-o attempt at replicating AroundSquare MKUltras, or some form of Komboloi. For me, it's mostly a fidget toy and four counting things. -George
And you are wondering why knives from China and their excellent, high quality "3rd of the price" knives and replicas/clones in good quality steels ( D2, 14c28n and alike ) flourish?! The reasons are your unvelievable markups and complete insanity of the western world knife manufacturers, who proved they are far removed from reality. Have a nice day.
@@darksi226even with labor cost increases there’s still huge profit margins on american made knives. also whilenchina does have issues with sweat shops most of the large chinese brands aren’t using illegal child labor lol just because it’s made in china doesn’t mean it’s ALL sweat shop labor

@ thanks, George! I’m a bit of a fountain pen nerd myself. It’s though finding notebooks that work well with fountain pens. I am ordering one now. Keep up the great work!
Can someone help me understand why you would need to every day carry a knife? Like what do you use it for often enough to be worth carrying daily? I don't mean anything negative i just don't understand, i see how collectors like collecting cool knives.
Why carry a condom? Or a pen? Or extra cash? Or a gun? It's a useful tool that can also protect you in emergencies. I open stuff every day with mine. Knives are just tactical scissors, tbh.

I like how George was about to cough at the very end but cut it just in time 😂
When will the Kershaw Steppe be back in stock?

Thoughts on the Kershaw Dawnstar? Would you get one?

Dawnstar is very unique but not for me .

Why are there so many commercials during this commercial?
Wow! Thanks...

It costs more to not use slave labor. U S A!
I can’t tell if D2 being good quality is sarcastic or not… I hope so

I dont get it why did he design integral handle to look like common handle 🤔
It’s 11/11/24 and there are no Maxace Sandstorms on the site
Just bought the kershaw bel air in carbon fiber. Looks sexy as hell and light! I think like 2 and a half ounces.
Just got mine. You're right, It's extremely light. I can actually carry it in sweatpant pockets at home comfortably

Why is the maxace so overbuilt but uses m390, which is a relatively brittle steel. Use 3v or magnacut...
I would not buy from them. I have purchased many times and one time I used customer service and its basically non existent. DO NOT BUY
