    I've been using Tony & Guy sea salt spray for a few months now; it may sound a bit OTT but it's pretty much changed my life! I have very thick hair, even when styled it falls flat after a couple of hours. The salt spray is a life changer, it helps to add volume and texture which lasts throughout the day. I couldn't compliment the product enough!

    5:17 that moment when you realise that your stache is a bit too valueable to take the biggest bite😭instead just a tiny bite😢
    I did make my own sea salt spray/prestyler yesterday... The ingrediens: Water, himalaya salt, argan oil, almond oil, coconut oil, hemp oil, aloe vera gel, hair gel and pebermint olie. It is abselutely brilliant!

      It's really the one drawback to a full mustache. I grew mine over my upper lip last year - looked like a traditional Ace comb. For the duration I wore it (several months), I pretty much did everything thru a straw.

    I have been using sea salt spray for a while now...but what I found is that my hair looks good only right after I dried them and as soon as I leave my house my hair start becoming wetter and wetter out of no where and they loose all the volume and they start looking all greasy. I dont use anything else on my hair other than that. I have been trying a few now...I tried John Master Seal Salt spray, the Not Your Mothers NYM Beach Babe Dead Sea Salt and only recently the SACHAJUAN Ocean Mist...I just found that for some reason I cant have a consistent hair style...sometimes the seasalt hairspray works sometimes it doesnt. I dont know if I am using it wrong or what...THANK YOU!

      Thickening Tonic will boost the hair and make it more natural. Sea salt spray is more for texture and a gritty boost.

    I use sea salt spray along with Claymation as a prestyler, really makes a difference however my hair still has nowhere near the amount of hold as yours when it's just dry and has no product in whatsoever, and you can work your hands through it too when it's done, meanwhile that would usually ruin my hair. Anyone have any suggestions?

      Typical Bambi same problem here. I just have to assume that some people are born with very nice hair like Robin's

      Maybe try using a more maleable clay? Something more oil based will give you a more 'toucable' finish. It won't dry hard, but will have a good hold.

      Just re-read the comment, Claymation doesn't seem like the type you should use as a prestyler.

    I really want to try a Sea Salt Spray, especially because I already have wavy and long hair, maybe It could give me a better result, but I haven't found one where I live yet.
    Also Robin, did you try using sea salt spray and then quicksand? I think that would be a great combination

      Hey Julian, give it a go.
      I don't massively like Quicksand, to be honest.

      Robin James Hi Robin, have you tried products from the brand "Ouai"? Ive been reading some reviews about the products like the matte pomade and the SS spray and seems really good

    Would you recommend it on course hair? I actually don't like the way my hair feels after a beach outing because it just feels so dry and gritty. It'd be great if you could do a video on which products we should not use together and why because sometimes I just feel like I might be using the wrong combination lol. To boost volume for a quiff, would you recommend a sea salt spray or a mousse?

    • @ManForHimself
      @ManForHimself  7 лет назад

      For a great, strong foundation of a quiff, I'd go mousse. But if your hair is shorter or you want really great texture, go sea salt spray.

      Robin James thanks for replying. I'll definitely go for a mousse then. My hair length is kind of like yours or maybe about 1cm longer. Any top 5 mousses comes to your mind?

    I recently got sea salt spray and maybe it's because my hair is too short but it doesn't seem to work for me. I'm guessing it's probably too short still though.

    • @ManForHimself
      @ManForHimself  7 лет назад +1

      It might be too short but should still give it some gritty texture.

      Robin James yeah it does, I have thin hair too but have had it short my entire life. Probably need to be patient and give it time. Thanks for the reply!

    Toni & Guy's Sea Salt Spray gives me a rash on my head each time I use it. (Having said that though, I ordered mine on the internet so it could be counterfeit to be fair, I'm not sure).
