I used a lot of the Hada labo Shirojyun premium products over and over when I lived in Japan, I love that line. I still buy their toner and emulsion. I've not tried the others, but having dry skin the dear Klairs ones have been on my list. Rovectin do a thicker cream for dry skin as well
@@麦わら-y2g yes Ive tried both. The emulsion is much lighter and like a lotion. The cream is somewhere between a gel and cream, not enough on its own for very dry skin so I layered both together

The p.calm one stings if you're on tretinoin or your skin barrier is damaged! Just a heads-up for anyone out there. It's great and I like it, except for the stinging and it's not rich enough for my peeling tretinoin skin!

Have you tried the new Purito Oat-In line? They have a calming gel moisturizer that my very sensitive skin absolutely loves. It feels like a heavier and more "milky" version of the Rovectin Lotus cream.

The Klairs moisturizers have been my ultimate HG since years ago, and I've always been so surprised that they seem relatively lesser known (I see more of the Etude House Soon Jung and Illiyoon being raved about online). I have recommended the Soothing Cream to a few coworkers who were just getting into asian skincare, and they all love it. Not to mention...I totally regret switching from it, as I do believe it has contributed to my clogged pores and other skin issues 😭.

If you have acne prone skin, be careful when using pcalm cato cream! It is advertised as being safe for acne prone skin but contains ethylhexyl palmitate and hydrogenated vegetable oil which are pore clogging ingredients. I learned this lesson the hard way after I purchased the cream and it broke me out😥
I have acne prone skin and it didn’t break me out! Overall every skin is different, two individuals could have the same skin type and still be unable to use the same products. Not to mention even if there are ingredients that are labeled as “pore clogging” it just depends on the individual and whether it causes issues for them as your mileage may vary.
@@AL-pg3cu Totally agree, everyone's skin (and acne) is different! Definitely not saying everyone with acne prone skin will break out from the cream or needs to avoid it, just to proceed with caution if you do have acne prone skin as it contains ingredients that can trigger acne☺

Did it not cause breakouts? It’s has a few comedogenic ingredients and it’s not oil free and silicon free. Or are you using other actives for your acne?
@@Jess-kd6fn no, I didn't experience any breakout. No issue at all. My skin just loves p.calm cato cream. I only use it at night (in the daytime, I don't use a separate, dedicated moisturizer, just a moisturizing sunscreen) and I always wake up with calm, comforted skin. I found out over time that having a well moisturized face is the key to keeping my acne under control so I'm always on the lookout for good moisturizers. And p.calm cato cream fits the bill, for me. 😊 the only active I'm using on a regular basis is retinol, which I apply every other night on top of my moisturizer.

I have tried the Lotus Water Cream & Cato Cream. Both gave me itchiness & red rashes. I'm combination sensitive skin. Saw another youtube review on the Cato Cream and apparently it's not suitable for acne-prone skin due to long list of ingredients that may cause breakouts and not suitable for sensitive skin too due to the amount of alcohol in it. Recommend people to do more research themselves instead of blindly following "suitable for all skin types or seasons" claim like me.😅

It's good to know more about Hada Labo Shirojyun cream for brightening formulation but I cannot find it in Korea. I already tried Hada Labo Gokujyun cream but it was not an elegant moisturizer for my AM routine. My favorite moisturizers are La Roche- Posay Cicaplast Light Cream for fall and winter available in Korea! And from K-Beauty I love Etude Soon Jung for the summer season.
I’m currently in Korea and went to olive young to get the p calm Cato cream only to find out they don’t carry it?! They only carry the toner and cleanser? I’m so confused…Tina where do I find this in store?? I was trying to get some at the best price instead of ordering it online.
So olive young is really competitive and it’s hard for newer brands like p.calm to get shelf space 🥲 I know they said ‘some’ olive young stores carry the Cato cream but not all - so online may be a better option sorry 😭

It took nearly 20 days for them to ship my order! When I initially placed the order, the expected shipment time was around 7 days, which I found acceptable. I found that when it comes to moisturisers, I can’t go with Asian skincare which kind of pisses me off 😭 no moisturiser works as well for me as my Biossance and it annoys me hahaha.
ITS AMAZING. I have recently switched to the illiyoon moisturizer, though. just because it’s more affordable and sustainable for me. 🥲 But it’s also amazing!! Do with this information what you will~ (edit: I also feel I should mention that the illiyoon moisturizer is very thick~~~ so it may not be best for oily skin. 🫶🏻)

I’m currently in Korea and went to olive young to get the p calm Cato cream only to find out they don’t carry it?! They only carry the toner and cleanser? I’m so confused…Tina where do I find this in store?? I was trying to get some at the best price instead of ordering it online.
So olive young is really competitive and it’s hard for newer brands like p.calm to get shelf space 🥲 I know they said ‘some’ olive young stores carry the Cato cream but not all - so online may be a better option sorry 😭

Your videos are truly amazing! I wanted to share some feedback as well. I recently made a few purchases from Stylevana, and my overall customer experience wasn't great. It took nearly 20 days for them to ship my order! When I initially placed the order, the expected shipment time was around 7 days, which I found acceptable. However, I was quite disappointed that it took them so long to process and dispatch my order.
You need to cut open those tubes! You’ll be surprised how much product is left inside!

I looove the Goodall vegan rice milk moisturizing cream! Dr. Dray recommended it. It’s now one of my favorite moisturizers. I haven’t tried the toner though!

I found that when it comes to moisturisers, I can’t go with Asian skincare which kind of pisses me off 😭 no moisturiser works as well for me as my Biossance and it annoys me hahaha.

ITS AMAZING. I have recently switched to the illiyoon moisturizer, though. just because it’s more affordable and sustainable for me. 🥲 But it’s also amazing!! Do with this information what you will~
(edit: I also feel I should mention that the illiyoon moisturizer is very thick~~~ so it may not be best for oily skin. 🫶🏻)

have u tried pcalm the lotion one? The price are same for both cream and lotion but i'm still contemplating... bc cato cream works so well on my skin. But lotion ver is bigger so....
