- These almond pancakes are gluten free, keto, low carb and pretty healthy. Although these pancakes are made without flour, they are fluffy and light. The recipe is super easy to make and it takes only few minutes.

Ingredients:
2 Eggs
2 tablespoons Oil or melted butter
3 tablespoons Milk of your choice
1 teaspoon stevia or other sweetener
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
1 cup (95g) Ground almonds/almond flour
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Baking powder
Butter/oil of choice for frying
Sugar free maple syrup
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, beat eggs, oil, milk and vanilla extract.
2. Add ground almond flour, baking powder and salt. Stir until combined.
3. Heat a skillet over medium-low heat, melt one tablespoon butter or oil.
4. Scoop about 1/4 cup of the batter, cook for 1-2 minutes, until golden brown at the bottom and bobbles appears on top, flip and cook for about 1-2 minutes more.
5. Serve!

literally the best pancake recipe out there! I ran out of all purpose flour and only had almond flour so I decided to put it to good use and the pancakes came out amazing! i've made pancakes using this recipe 3 times last week!
I tried this recipe today. Came out really good. Went well with scrambled eggs, bacon and avocado. Broke my fast with this meal at 1230.

Best Keto pancake recipe I've tried and I have tried many! Others are super flat and eggy. This recipe was perfect and fluffy! Due to the almond flour it does taste drier and is less bouncy than traditional pancakes so best served with butter, whipped cream, and keto maple syrup! I will return to this recipe again and again!
I made these with heavy cream and an extra splash of butter extract along with the vanilla extract. I also let the pancake batter sit for 5 to 10 minutes before cooking in the skillet
Had it with cinnamon honey butter. These pancakes were heavenly, love these so much

The pancakes turned out to be amazing! I added 1 tsp of white vinegar to get the buttermilk pancake taste.

If you’re used to making pancakes with regular flour, be careful when you try to flip these almond flour pancakes. They don’t have gluten in them, so the break apart easily when you pick them up with a spatula. I deal with this by using a big, wide spatula.

Good tip thanks. I’d add to just make them smaller, like an ice cream scoop which I gently spread out to be about 5” in diameter. Large nonstick skillet will fit 3. My regular flipper does fine. I’ve made these again tonight, double recipe. It’s nice to have some in the freezer when I’m missing bread. I put butter or peanut butter on one as a snack. 👍
Perfect recipe for two. This is my first time using almond flour for pancakes and I really liked this recipe and I will use it more often.
I made these and they were great, I recommend adding a bit of nutmeg and cinnamon, you wont even need the syrup. I wonder if there is the perfect flour blend to get rid of the grainy taste 100%, that would be even more amazing.
This is it…I’m done. These are the best tasting keto pancakes I’ve ever had…I’ve found my recipe! If you come to my house, this is how I make my pancakes! LOL

Add 1 cup almond flour
1 TS baking powder
1-2 TS sugar
1/4 ts salt mix

Recipe ACTUALLY works!!! Add LESS Stevia (1/2 tsp.) the after-taste can be overwhelming.
Made some SAVORY pancakes by removing sugar and vanilla - replaced with chopped sautéed onions, garlic and dill (any seasoning you want) Great with soups and as a snack.🤗

These are the tastiest most delicious keto pancakes! I’m a tough food critic, but these pancakes have really blown me away. Literally the consistency of the batter is exactly like the store bought Birch Benders keto pancakes!! Now I never have to buy those again and I loved those but these are like that but better! I made this recipe from my hotel room on a Dash griddle. So grateful for this recipe, thank you!!
Is extra fine almond flour ok to use...don’t have ground almonds.

@@merika206 Agriculture is destroying the planet. It is very frustrating how much miss information there is on this topic. Grazing can actually sequester far more carbon than forests at a much, much faster rate. If we grazed animals on a large enough scale, we could actually mitigate all human emissions. Growing plants can not do this. Plant agriculture uses massive amounts of fossil fuels and unlike grazing cattle, it doesn't mitigate its own emissions. The soil microbiome is killed with chemicals and that dead soil is lost rapidly, causing complete land infertility and desertification. Grazing animals is the fastest way to replenish these lands, bring the microbes back, give nutrients back, rehydrate, break up impaction, and build soil faster than any other process. It would take nature decades to build the amount of soil made in a couple of yrs of Grazing.

Andrea Palma it depends on you tbh. Sorry for the vague answer. That day I had 2 pancakes plus a low carb snack. If you have a calorie limit, log the ingredients into MyFitnessPal as a recipe. Then do serving size as how many pancakes you make. It will show you how many macros each pancake has and you can size your breakfast accordingly.

Get the extra fine almond flour….from Bob’s Mill and add enuf liquid so they go flat fluffy. With the no sugar maple syrup…..u will believe…..that u have…..gone to heaven….with real butter, etc. Carry on!!

Just made this recipe this morning, and it was on POINT! I added a couple tbsps. of oat fiber (not flour) and a bit of water to thin it back down and made seven 3-4 inch dia. pancakes on the electric griddle. Light and fluffy without having any weird textures. I ate 3 and gave the wife 3 (wife cares nothing for the low-carb diet) and I was so pleased at how awesome they tasted. Even the wife was surprised! Thanks so much for posting this!!
Notes to self: Use kefir instead of milk, cut almond flour to 3/4 because there wasn't room in the pan for a full cup, make them small as suggested or they fall apart when flipping (4 instead of 3). Also wasn't able to eat it all. Stevia is not necessary. Very good taste and consistency, also very filling. Check the comment below about savory pancakes. That looks good.

Great recipe! Simple and still delicious
best thing to do with pancakes is to not over beat them. Leave bubbles and some dry ingredients as well but do not stir after about 10 beats. Also use half cream and half club soda for rise and cook until the bubbles start to form and break then flip and continue to cook for anothe couple minutes. The basic recipe is mmm but with a few changes they become magnifico. Oh also use 1Tbsp of apple cider vinegar after adding the leavening agents baking soda and baking powder. You will not believe that these are keto because they are so darned good. Never use a mixer for pancakes.
I used a blender to mix and only had water in replace of milk. They are so good, ty!
Just made this and it was so good! Had to add almost triple the amount of milk to get the same texture as you because my flour soaked it up so fast. So weird to me how flour varies like that. And topped it with strawberries soaked in maple extract and lemon. Absolutely delicious! Thanks for sharing!

Did you use the full 2Tbs melted butter or oil ? Did the batter look as liquid as in the video ?
I use olive oil and almond milk (but add splash more almond milk to ensure it’s not dry).
Just tried this for the first time and it’s so tasty!! I also add dried resins and it’s delicious ❤️ Do it over super low heat and be patient till the edge crisps up then flip boom fluffiest but still crispy out amazing! Thank you 😊
Are the almonds blanched? I ground some almonds up and made pancakes and they were like cardboard and tasted like an omelette

I added a dash of cinnamon to mask the almond flavor and it's almost like the real thing! except the texture of course : )
I made the pancakes but was not impressed. The consistency was too mushy and they fell apart when serviced. Taste was okay.
I follow the recipe but use olive oil and almond milk and add just a splash more almond milk than recipe calls for. Good luck!

I love this recipe as diabetic it’s perfect for me. I only substitute the sugar and vanilla for sugar free maple syrup and opt not add salt and baking powder also I used coconut oil instead butter they are very addicting ❤

Whats weird I always have this as doing keto, every bread, cake, and donut. Tastes more like almond nuts that’s always the same texture and dense. I just use egg whites stiffed peaks and fold into the oil and yolk, different texture annd airy taste.
They were not my favorite tasting pancake I've ever made but I will try again soon.

without oil they would stick to the pan and won't give the crispy texture

I reduced the recipe; made 6 small cakes!; perfect amt for me; they were yummy!!!!!

For carbs, I believe it should be around 20-30 carbs in total for the whole mixture so be aware and try to make around 4-6+. Awesome pancakes, I used whole almond flour as opposed to the blanched (less carbs) and it came out great!
Milk? I thought milk was NOT Keto friendly because of the lactose!

I made these with maybe 1/2-3/4 of the almond flour to be thinner, and to save on carbs. They were really tasty and didn’t have that “stick-to-the-roof-of-your-mouth” problem of regular pancakes. Can’t wait to eat the rest this morning with some sausages; I saved half the batter so I could have three thin pancakes twice. 😎

Delicious recipe ! Only difference is I separate the egg whites and whisk until fluffy and fold it into the mixture to make fluffy pancakes

just tried this recipe and it's awesome! i added some optional ingredients for extra nutrients - 1 tbsp of unflavoured collagen powder and a tbsp of golden flaxseed meal, which surprisingly also added some nice colours and richer flavour!
If anyone knows the correct amount of milk for this recipe, let me know. So far I haven't been able to get it right. Also, I can always still taste the grit of the almond flour. If anyone knows a fine brand, let me know

3 tablespoons of almond milk worked perfectly for me! I mixed the milk in with the other wet ingredients, including the melted butter, then added to the dry and it worked out great. Wonder what happened for you? D=

I was looking for an easy recipe for almond flour pancakes and I found this. I tried it today and it was very easy to mix and tasted great but I had a hard time flipping it then I made the second one on low heat until it’s golden brown then I flipped it and that worked out better.
