It's not the black color of the hair that makes it shine, it's the straight shaft. If a hair strand has too many bends in it it won't shine due to light refracting, no matter how black it is.

Looks lovely but to be very honest it is very thin on the sides. I would have suggested cutting the front into bangs to hide the breakage but still nice cut

She didn’t want to do that and she was happy to wear it like this. Sometimes when a clients expresses their insecurity and tell me what she doesn’t want. I tell them what that means so they are sure of what that means.

I agree, bangs and layers would have made this cut 1000x better; but if the client doesn’t know what’s good what can you do 🤷🏾‍♀️. Love the way the stylist handled it and satisfied the client 🙌🏾.

Looks gorgeous, I just wish the stylist would layer the hair so that it has more volume and bounce, otherwise fine hair just ends up looking flat and dull. These are the simple things that take a simple cut to an elite super fabulous cut.

It’s an amino acids treatment. Similar to a keratin rinses out over time
