Its not designed for anyone with a land of grills but for those BBQ starved people in apartments and condos. Wrap the drip tray in foil. Problem solved. Yes, you can smell burned pellets but there is NO SMOKE in the room unless you open the door and let a small amount out. Is it as good as a real charcoal or pellet smoker or offset? No but is far better than a standard indoor oven.

Excellent review Tom definitely a neat concept! I feel this way some things are meant to do outdoors 😂, but it is pretty cool 😎 thanks for sharing Cheers brother 🍻

Hi Tom, thanks for the video! I own this smoker and used it in my garage during the Michigan winter months when temps were frigid. When I made party ribs and chicken wings, they turned out pretty good! So I think GE claimed it eliminates the smoke from being inside your home, but nothing about the smell. So perhaps it’s filtering out the carbon monoxide/dioxide etc., but not the smell of the burnt pellets . One day I want to take it inside and try running it under my oven range hood fan to see if that helps with the smell. I also switched to bear mountain mesquite pellets to a get a stronger smoke flavor. For the grease drip pan, I wrap my in foil.

Another video and maybe see how much of a difference level 10 on the smoking setting does.

Hi Tom, always good to see one of your excellent reviews. The GE Profile is about $400 too much money. The technology is promising though....perhaps.....

Where is that smoke going? Are there filters that need to be either changed or replaced?
