      @@DK-pr9ny If you can get "Sir Kensington's" mayo, it does not have soy. I use the 'classic' mayo, but it's also available with avocado. Both are good, but, I do choose the 'classic' more often than the avocado. I've compared this side by side with many of the other soy based mayo's that are available to me, and I always come back to this. I use this as a slather on sandwiches, in homemade salad dressings, tartar sauce, and a horseradish sauce when I'm having steak. The salad and horseradish are both pretty good when I'm snacking on tortilla chips!

    I love smokin em at 250 with a few chunks of apple and mesquite till they hit temp and then searing them before I add the cheese - unbeatable.

      I use small squares of parchment paper on the scale, and also on the press. That way when done, I’ve got a layer of paper under and on top to carry them. 👍🏻

      I’ve done it for years when cooking turkey burgers because it’s so lean. Beef is usually fatty enough on its own for me but guess this is worth a try.

    I sure do miss my garden in Hernando, Ms and the People! Had 33 tomato plants, sweet corn, peppers, purple hull peas. etc. 😢. Definitely would have a thick slice of tomato on that fine looking burger 😁👍. Thanks Malcomb!

      @@reneviousI’ve always used Dukes, just recently switched to Blue Plate. Man it’s so good. I still feel like I’m cheating on Dukes though.

    I make it same way, but without the bun. I use a xtra large salt fermented cucumber !

    I use a 3/4 measuring cup for the perfect si,e, I just press it flat into a saucer. I'm definitely going to try the mayo and thumb hack!

    Think I want for about a 6 oz patty to start with make a little bit more crispy then I could probably put two patties on one bun.
    That's a super burger...lol

    Mayonnaise and using plastic bags over the scale and burger press are excellent ideas.
    Turkey isn’t as firm as beef. Can the same method be used for Turkey burgers?

    That's pretty good, but here's what I do:
    1. Get the frozen burgers out of the freezer, than put them in a hot cooking tool (oven, air fryer, grill)
    2. Thenm when they're cooked, put them in between buns. Add toppings if necessary
    3. THIS TAKES A WHILE so I wouldn't recommend doing all the extra steps that the guy in this video says

    I typically smoke mine a little at first and then sear em over hot coals and there are never any leftover. I am gonna try the mayo thing tho just to see if we can tell a difference.
