    The best part of your videos is the look on your face every time when you take that first bite! The total enjoyment you get from that taste of the creation you have made! All that followed by that same look on each following bite!
    You make stuff look so good I wish I could reach right into the screen and grab one of those burgers right off of the plate.

    Never been into food videos...until I've watched Malcom. I started last week learning to smoke a pork shoulder, now this.... omg, for someone not to be the biggest food guy, this man has changed my ways! 2 words are all I can think of: Food Porn. Thank you for giving me a new love for good hearty amazing BBQ. Can't believe I spent so much time with my fellow war veteran's from some of those Southern American states and didn't immediately become addicted!

    Malcom I have followed you now for a year and a half /Two years. I try about 75% of you recipe's. You have brought me to the next level in smoking. Have been using a Webber smoky mountain, great smoker but would love to get the Yoder 480 or 640. Thanks for taking the time and keep up the great work.

    Just tried this recipe and.....
    I will never grill another burger again. These came out ultra tender and juicy. The flavor was insane! One of the best burgers I’ve ever had on my first try

    Wow, Malcom thank you for all the testing in these recipes!! I made the Smoke house burgers on a Silva back, 80/20 ground chuck and the steak sauce with sweet onions and Swiss!! Our taste buds are still loving the meal!!! Excellent!!!

    I’ve long been a fan of smoked hamburgers. Truly the best way humans have yet devised for making a burger. Plus, if you have competent help in the kitchen, it gives plenty of time for nursing a few beers and everyone knows beer tastes best when you have smoke rolling.

      Nah, too much hassle. Toast 'em in the oven after slicing if you like, insides up, middle rack, on broil for just a few minutes, I'd think.

    My cheap easy steak sauce recipe: cheapest bottle of kraft mesquite bbq sauce and some A1 steak sauce. Lol. Malcom ,your awesome and weve all learned alot and uped our cooking game because of ya. Great vid!

      I made his recipe for the steak sauce. Wasn't 100% sure about it but after it sat for a couple of weeks in the fridge, I'll be damned if it didn't taste a lot like A1. LOL!

    My good man, I made these burgers tonight on my electric masterbuilt smoker and they came out amazing! Not sure I can go back to a regular grilled burger or regular mayo ever again. Thanks again for the great content.

      It is a lot...solution is scale that recipe up and jar it, seal those jars up in a hot water bath or pressure cooker. Steak sauce for the year and you just saved a good amount of money ;)

    DUDE! I am also impressed by your technique, equipment (smokers and grills) and overall engaging method. This video is enough to make me grind my own meat....not sure I will but sure sounds tasty....nicely done! Adding smoke to any meat adds so much character...thx for sharing .

    I made these 3 weeks ago and was blown away - soo damn good. i'm making them today for friends for Labor Day. The garlic mayo is killer. I like to put a bit of butter on each half of the kaiser rolls and give them a light toasting. Wright's hickory smoked bacon is our fave. Love your video's Malcom!

    Been experimenting with a small griddle on one side of the Kamado. Melt some butter on the griddle then finish with a one minute seer both sides on griddle. Good video.

      Someone who likely didn't care for the recipe disliked it. Seems simple enough to understand. I didn't thumb it down. But it's not a burger I'd make. Too many seasonings. If you're going to grind your own to get good beef flavor, seems kind of counterintuitive to then add all that rub + strong steak sauce. But that's what cooking burgers, or anything, is all about. You get to cook it the way you want. And you're allowed to not care for the way someone else cooks it. Thanks - Lumpy

    One point to make here is that you don't need the expensive grill or Wagyu-infused burger to do this. I did it last night on my Weber with SNS and a grill topper - I used home-processed venison burger and a couple small oak chunks for smoke. It also took about 45 minutes low and slow for around 1/2 lb burgers (venison cooks slower due to its low fat content). As for the rest of the burger ... do what YOU like - make your best burger, but just smoke the patty - you'll be glad you did.
