It's finally here! I originally did this video about 5 years ago back when there really weren't any other playthroughs of the game online. As a result of all that, the original pathing came out pretty poorly optimized and the video was forced into two parts due to crossing the 12 hour video limit. I've ALWAYS wanted to re-do this one with much better pathing, platforming and quality but it hasn't been feasible until now.. so here it is! In less than ten hours! I'd much appreciate it if you can leave a like and/or comment to help boost this one in the algorithm as my previous video used to be one of the most watched ones on RUclips. This game is often critiqued for it's bad framerate and since a lot of the current videos online use certain emulator cores that allow these games to run without such framerate issues, there isn't a whole lot of accurate documentation online. What fascinates me about the Banjo games for the N64 is that the community seems pretty split in which one of the two they favor best. I'm personally team Kazooie because I prefer the smaller stages and linearity of the game, although I probably would've preferred Tooie when I was younger because of how interconnected the stages are and how it allows for more general goofing around and exploration. ' I always believed that this game requires a lot more stage revisits than I ended up doing for this video, but it seems that with smart planning you only have to come back to each stage once. I believe some stages might not even need revisits at all if you use glitches/skips to obtain certain jiggies and jinjos that otherwise require powerups unlocked later in the game, but I don't know too much about all this. What I can tell you is that I wanted to make sure to only use tricks for this video that are easily reproduced. For example, there's a method to get Banjo through Stomping Plains in Terrydactyland before having the Snooze Pack, but it's so terribly hard to reproduce on real hardware that I didn't want to showcase it in this video. There might be a bunch of smaller instances where I did things that the game didn't really intent on to, but all of those should be easily reproduced by those who wish to use this video as a walkthrough. Needless to say, this video is 100% in the sense that all collectibles are collected. The one thing that you can consider missing is bringing back the Cheato pages and enabling all of the cheats. I did this in my previous recording because I found the boss to be extremely difficult, but it wasn't necessary this time around. ...and with that.. all of lengthy Rare N64 platformer titles have been successfully documented on this channel!
Gosh here it is… I play this game every year no matter what. I play it in December as it was gift from my mom back in the day. Just gives me a warm feeling

Nostalgia is a beautiful kind of pain, a reflection of what you remember from so long ago and the yet, the sorrow and the notion you'll never be able to experience that joy first time ever again. Banjo-Tooie was a birthday present for me back in 2002, I played it so much and was enjoying it that I had 4 controllers for my friends to join me in the multiplayer mode. I still have the original cart after 21 years with a percentage done of 78 percent as some jiggies I couldn't do, never could beat the final boss but wow, this video of a game 23 years old gives me the feels to those times. Edit, 39:21 why oh why did that make me laugh so much
I 100%ed this game not too long ago. I'd have to say the hardest mission was the Canary Mary race in Cloud Cuckooland. Took me many tries, but I completed it. My trick is to pause the game from time to time to rest your finger, then continue.
I played this and the first one with my cousin and best friend so much man. makes me wish i was a kid again so i could spend the endless days on it playing it.
8:43:55 The Tower of Tragedy from Banjo-Tooie (2000) is a quiz show game like Grunty's Furnace Fun from Banjo-Kazooie (1998), Chuck Quizmo's quizzes and the 64th Trivia Quiz-Off from Paper Mario (2001) and 65th Super Fun Quirk Quiz and the 66th Annual Quirk Quiz in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (2004).
Nice work! I never really played this one much, just kazooie. But i've heard a lot about it so it'll be cool to watch some. I LOVE the music and voices!!!
this was one of my favorite games growing up. I loved all of the worlds and characters. which is why It's sad to say that this game isn't the better one objectively. while the worlds are great, maybe they're a little too big. it's a little bit annoying how you can't get everything in a world without backtracking, but it honestly didn't bother me. I still prefer this game, but I completely understand why other people prefer the first game
Real shame that Evil's imminent return had made things a whole lot worse than before, one of those being the unfortunate death of Bottles the Mole, an absolute MVP and a dear friend of Banjo and Kazooie!!!! Glad he was avenged and revived, and that everyone and everything got in order once again!!!! Grunty should've stayed dead and buried, her sisters too!!!!😭😤
Though I think it's better in this video where because of the slowdown of some footage, the music stays sync with the opening sequence. If you play this on Xbox 360, the lack of lag actually make the music fall out of sync because the animation was originally made for N64 framerate
Just how come Nintendo never finished completed Banjo Dreamie as an Authentic back then around 2001/02? Would been worth to have all three banjo n64 games but its only these two kazooie and tooie then!

Sometimes you just gotta smack a rude, little shit. Teach them there's consequences to mouthing off. God knows some people deserve it. But I digress. It's part of the game 😂
You're right. But this game was made a while ago, and standards have changed since then. And this is a game made by a British company. Not to generalize, but they're a little notorious for having a less-than-lenient approach with children.
Tbh that's fair. There's a few skips like that, but I would only opt for skips that are easily reproduceable. I opted for them so the flow of the video is better, or else I would have to backtrack and do more re-visits

It’s worth 100%’ing! and the boss is real easy if you collect all Cheato pages and enable the ingame cheats
I played this game before when I was a kid. Fun memories.
Why do you have glasses of milk in your profile pic?

Love this game🎉🎉🎉
same
No more two-part video of Banjo-Tooie in LongplayArchive like in 2018.
It's been 5 years.
It's in one HD video right now.
Hahahaha thanks!
Nice work! I never really played this one much, just kazooie. But i've heard a lot about it so it'll be cool to watch some. I LOVE the music and voices!!!
Yeah and the dialogue is just as offensive as the first one lol
loooll. Was just talking to someone about angry aztec from DK64, similarly offensive@@longplayarchive
I remember playing this game back in the day when I was little!
Tower of Tragedy is like Jeopardy.
Gruntilda in Hag 1 at Cauldron Keep in Banjo-Tooie (2000) is a boss battle in a tank like General Guy at Shy Guy's Toy Box in Paper Mario (2001).
Kazooie in Banjo Tooie (2001) is turned into a green dragon just like johnny in Hotel Transylvania: Transformania (2021).
WHAT? No timestamp for Mr. Patch!?!(Character Parade doesn't count)
Yes it is
I never got to play this game before, but I've heard of it though and it seems like a really fun platforming game too.
Nso soon baby

Yo, this game is coming to switch this week. From what I heard, this game is better than the OG.
Surprising this game has such a long intro, 11 minutes seems rather excessive for a platformer.
Grunty should've stayed dead and buried, her sisters too!!!!😭😤
Shouldn't Banjo & Kazooie be handing 25 Cheato Pages to Cheato and then go to the code room in Mayahem Temple to get and enable cheats?
Awesome
🎉❤🎉❤
One of my favorite games of all f*#%ing time!!!
Shouldn't Banjo & Kazooie go to the zombified King Jingaling's throne?
Kazooie in Banjo-Tooie (2000) is turned into a green dragon just like Johnny in Hotel Transylvania: Transformania (2022).

DK64 vibes
Eso fueron lo conozco de los nintendo
Banjo Kazooie only has three games
One of the slowest running N64 games period.
I disagree

Not as good as the first due to them ramping up the collect-a-thon aspect FAR too much but still a solid game overall
I played the Xbox 360 version of this
To be honest, if your job is to turn down anyone who is unworthy of entry your job sucks in my opinion.
I consider using the pack whack jump glitch to be illegal cheating
