    You know when they say refer back to your health professional, is it just me « do they exist ? « They either lack knowledge or they don’t care to take the time to give you the information you need. I started to hate seeing my family doctor. They are practically useless. Best to do our own research

    Thanks for this great summary... and advice. ❤ Now confident my vit choices are ok 😊... the next project is making yoghurt instead of taking probiotics....want to start eating L. Reuteri and L.Gasseri which sound pretty interesting. A video on fermented food and probiotics i think would be really great too. Probiotics are big business these days but finding food that will have the same effect (better in fact, as natural) is always a good idea ...unless maybe there already is a video on this. Like kefir too but hard to keep up with the feeding of grains/ huge amounts of kefir.😮 fermented veg are great...and cheap...and versatile! 🎉

    I like this video. The dr is relaxed, gentle. The lecture is interesting. I like plants, leaves, nature behind him. Relaxing scenery.

    Great video - as usual. I'd really like some more information about supplements - if you are happy to take a deeper dive into this topic. Thanks Dr Rupy

    I found this episoed particularly useful thanks so much- I have chronic health issues/inflamation and have always tried to stay solution focussed/holistic in my approach which has sometimes meant Ive rushed to supplement with pills (not pharmaceuticals but supplements assuming that they were "better" ) to try and feel/get better - Ive often wondered that having anything in a larger form than you would readily eat it in a meal is maybe not good but this explains why- I do also find if I take things like iron supplements (am veggie so despite reading up lots I do still struggle with how to get good bioavailable iron without too much oxalate as have osteoporosis) get v constipate and again all this makes so much more sense now
    Thanks so much- I listen to a few podcasts Huberman/attia/zoe etc and of the UK wellbeing/nutrition type ones ones I do find your approach to be the least patronising/well infor,med/broad spectrum science but realisitc and caring. Thanks x ps sorry for the essay!!!!

    I think I heard you say the vitamins in 'multivitamins concoctions' are synthetic, and the body can not utilise them. So how comes they are sold? I don't understand. Please can someone clarify.

    Could you recommend a brand of d3 & k2? 😊 and maybe also a Creatine brand? :) thank you, you’re fantastic.

    • @ThuLe-eh1xe
      @ThuLe-eh1xe 11 месяцев назад

      Supplement k2 causes heart palpitation. Pl get from green leafy vegetables. These vegetables have k that coagulate the blood. But vit k( which is k1) will be converted into k2 by the good bacteria in our gut. Green leafy vegetables also have omega3 in the chlorophyll. They have everything we need. No need natto or cheese.

    Vitamin B12 for vegans??? OG supplements ????

    • @ThuLe-eh1xe
      @ThuLe-eh1xe 11 месяцев назад

      Yes, dr Neal Barnard said that vegan people should take vit b12.

    • @littlevoice_11
      @littlevoice_11 11 месяцев назад +2

      Definitely. B12 is essential for vegans

    • @ThuLe-eh1xe
      @ThuLe-eh1xe 11 месяцев назад

      B12 is abundant in vegetables. I think probiotic has b12?
      I am not vegan, so I do not know much about b12. But I think that fermented foods have b12 because bacteria create b12.

    • @littlevoice_11
      @littlevoice_11 11 месяцев назад

      @ThuLe-eh1xe I'm afraid only fortified foods have b12. Nutritional yeast is a great option high in B vitamins and fortified with b12 too.
      Whilst the fermentation of vegetables can results in some b12 (technically speaking), the amounts vary depending on the fermentation process and strain of bacteria. It is very unreliable and still very low/negligible. You can't meet your rda from this.

    • @ThuLe-eh1xe
      @ThuLe-eh1xe 11 месяцев назад

      @@littlevoice_11 i am not vegan. I eat meat. So I do not worry about lacking b12.
      Thank you for your response. Good day to you.

    Are you Indian, Doctor? I thought you are from Middle East.

    • @ShahidKhan-qw8yk

      Does it matter if he is a Indian Dr or a Dr from middle east?
      Dr is a Dr , and he is a Dr ,
      A Dr who speaks English and he is born and bred in UK🤪

    • @ThuLe-eh1xe
      @ThuLe-eh1xe 11 месяцев назад +1

      @@ShahidKhan-qw8yk i have no bad intention to discriminate anybody. Long time ago, in one of his video, he invited many friends that, to me, were from middle east over to his place for dinner. Again, they might be indian.
      It is why I ask now because I like him and I think he looks Indian.
      Even if he comes from middle east, that is fine with me. They are all nice. Have a good day.
