I like drinking Hibiscus iced tea. Lovely flavor and color - perfect Summer drink.
Karkadeh in Egypt - they just ruin it with a ton of sugar
JUST what I needed! Coffee substitutes=polifenoles
Really need a transcript of this one. I’m a lip reader and I’m struggling with the video.
The theobromine in chocolate has the same impact on the caffeine-sensitive as does caffeine. Not necessarily a good option.
honestly I`m super sensitive to caffeine and green tea, I even get arrythmnia and no problem at all with cocoa.
What does the powdered collagen actually contribute to our health? Cosmetics wise from my understanding it does nothing.
It aids gut issues too. One of the reasons I’m gonna start taking it too 😁
I'm very sensitive to caffeine, due to heart and thyroid issues - does the cacao have caffeine?
so many of your recipes use coconut milk,,,,,,i absolutely love coconut milk but i am scared about its effects on cholesterol and LDL,,,,,is it okay to consume regularly if my cholesterol is borderline high, like 210?
We stopped using coconut milk years ago when our LDL shot up. Suspected the coconut milk so discontinued using it and some months later our LDL had gone back to ‘good’ levels!
Just use almond or cashew milk. I use almond milk because my supermarket sells a brand without any of those terrible emulsifiers.
@@charlottehodgson5093 same here!!!
I tried maca powder. Blech. Made me want to throw up. I do love brassica vegetables though.
Did you use on its own? It is acquired taste for sure.
Where in the world do you get raw cacao?
Any good supermarket!!
The brand I use is ‘Navitas Organics’ My local Walmart stocks it. Can also purchase online. 😊
Vitanics, realfoodsource, detox trading. Have your pick.
When u find it I would recommend looking for ethically sourced. certain brands exploit the labor of cacao farmers n contribute to deforestation. I use one and add cacao nibs to it too, I find both at stores around me n sprouts is my fave
Search online….!!!!!
Can you please include the list of ingredients or anybody please 🙏🏾 @thedoctorskitchen ?
Ever heard of decaff?🤣I drink organic instant defca, which is supposedly without the cholesterol downside of french press etc. Still has all the polyphenols. also love my vegan hot chocolate with oat milk, cinnamon, kardamom, ginger, tiny bit of maple syrup etc....its in my first cookbook veggilicious- Gemüse kann so sex sein. I spoon it and its like a soothing meditative ritual
