Digging some shallow watermain with a John Deere 470G and a Destec V bucket. People got mad I turned off the Jack and Rod show so here's Ms. Butterface Contest 2004.
Great work it’s amazing how deep you guys have to put the services due to the winter freezing. We never have that issue in Australia. Is that a standard stick on the 470? I run a VOLVO 480. I do the same work bit in the Southern Hemisphere. Keep her lit!

Put you in a Deere for once .so Incase anyone was wondering why you sloped the trench it's because there isn't a trench box being used so the hole don't collapse on them standing around guys

vantagetes also the point of using the V-Bucket. Is to cut your time by not switching buckets.. it’ll hold more dirt then a square bucket. And the V will cut your slope perfect if you know how to use it.
@@sprucesoldier In hard ground like this I still ran my 54" bucket. We tried it on a couple sites with other hoe ops and still running 2 buckets I got more done in a day than the other guys.
vantagetes once you learn how to use it. It is way faster. That all we use here in Calgary.. I wasn’t a fan at first about them. But if your using 2 buckets might as well kick the V to the curb and use 2 Squares..
I bought a brand new 470 4 months ago and it’s completely garbage my older 470’s will eat the new one for lunch and I have had Deere out there 6 diff times trying to tune it but they say that’s all they can do with the new motor and torque curve!!!!! My 2012 with 9872 hrs on it will flat out run and hide from the new garbage I’m so upset!!!!!
