Greatest actor of our generation, super underappreciated, brilliant in every scene, he's always doing something with purpose and whether it's comedy or whatever, he's perfectly in the moment every time he's on screen. Masterclass just watching him act.
To this day, I still think Penguin is his best role. He literally transformed so much for that role, and the voice he did for him...it was hard to tell if it was Danny at some moments, but it was. He's such a great actor, but Frank Reynolds is my favourite XD.
Interesting fact about Danny DeVito’s casting as Phil in Hercules. He was always the directors’ first choice to voice Phil, but he didn’t want to audition, so several other actors, including Ernest Borignine, Ed Asner, and Burgess Meredith, auditioned for it, but the directors still wanted Danny DeVito. They sat down with him at a pasta lunch during the filming of Matilda and got him to sign on for the role.

Taxi is without a doubt the greatest comedy series of all time. Devito and Lloyd help create two of the most iconic television characters in television history. The writing, cast, acting, everything was spot-on perfect. My opinion only, of course.

Nicholson was a child actor
Lmfaoooo 7:53 "I was ya know, the dad of Sweet Dee and Dennis.... of course my wife was a whouer." Never change Danny.
I can't believe they didn't talk about Big Fish!! One of my all time favorite movies, even if it was more of a minor role for him. I just really love it.
They didn’t want us to start crying (Big Fish always makes me cry)
I wish Robin Williams could have done this segment as well.

Noam GBA I don’t speak Minecraft enchanting table
Danny DeVito saying “I’m big, you’re little” will always be funny
More like always be sunny , *amirite????*
And "youre a wormwood so you better start acting like one"
The only time danny devito has been, or will ever be, bigger than someone else.
“When im dead, just throw me in the trash”

@Jeremy Backman have you been watching sam o nella videos haha
@Jeremy Backman philosophy can be a real trap when you're studying it. My philosophy class in college almost had me living like a hermit in my small room
Man, so many people love season one to seven I mean all of them are amazing
Sansouchi never, if Danny Devito dies we get coffin dance guys
DeVito is the original "Down for whatever" dude. He is ride or die personified.
In our hearts his spirit won’t end
and neither will his role as the stripper in Friends
He was a stripper in friends?,(I dont watch it that's why I dont know)

danny devito was in mean girls? I have watched that movie so many times, how did I miss that? It's been a while, I suppose...
edit: I googled the scene lol I get it now
He's waitin there like a spider, tryin to catch some flies!
Scrolled until I found this comment
i was just thinking about that lool
Greatest actor of our generation, super underappreciated, brilliant in every scene, he's always doing something with purpose and whether it's comedy or whatever, he's perfectly in the moment every time he's on screen. Masterclass just watching him act.
The fact he members the name of his makeup artist is telling
Danny DeVito: *exists*
Internet: *PRAISE THE LORD ALLMIGHTY*
Thought I just busted a fat one
I thought he already passed away...
Glad to hear he didn't!
TheDutchLord if he passed the whole world will have to attend his funeral.
“Oh botched toe, I botched this one”
“Just plug it up with some trash don’t waste a perfectly good sock”
To this day, I still think Penguin is his best role. He literally transformed so much for that role, and the voice he did for him...it was hard to tell if it was Danny at some moments, but it was. He's such a great actor, but Frank Reynolds is my favourite XD.
The scene where he bites the guys nose off terrified me as a child 😂
I know lots of people joke about Danny being “the sexiest man ever,” but he actually was decently attractive as a young man.
Who said we we're joking?
@@anormalchest560 Exactly, an ordinary soul cannot begin to comprehend the anomaly of what a hunk he is.

It should have been Mac.

@@Shred_The_Weapon Wow, you think?
Interesting fact about Danny DeVito’s casting as Phil in Hercules. He was always the directors’ first choice to voice Phil, but he didn’t want to audition, so several other actors, including Ernest Borignine, Ed Asner, and Burgess Meredith, auditioned for it, but the directors still wanted Danny DeVito. They sat down with him at a pasta lunch during the filming of Matilda and got him to sign on for the role.
Craziest coincidence is (at this time) Danny is the only one alive. Much respect to the other legends, though, especially Ed Asner.
So glad Danny DeVito was cast as Phil, Ernest Borgnine, Edward Asner and Burgess Meredith wouldn't seem like they would fit
Arnold needs to play Frank's twin for It's Always Sunny...
Oh my God yes!!
yeah Ive been crying out for an Arnie appearance. Mac has met him & Danny would obviously still talk to him know & then. GET HIM ON FOR A WHOLE SEASON!
ty c do a full season where it’s just Arnold playing frank and have everyone act like nothing is different like no one acknowledges that franks looks different just say “must be the lighting”
Rob came up with a rough script for a sequel
I had no idea I wanted this so much
I'm glad that he has such a good time playing Frank and that he actually takes the role seriously. It's so crazy and funny.
He's such a good actor. Not only made my childhood but has entertained me now much older with shows like it's always sunny in philadelphia.
We have accepted the egg, in these trying times
Was smiling throughout the entire thing. Danny is such a lovely human being. He's one of the good ones.
Anyone else find it weird to see him so calm and relaxed rather than his character in its always sunny who's basically freaking out 24/7
I really hope Danny Devito realizes just how much he means to so many people the things he has done for other people including Mara Wilson especially when her mother was sick. he really is an angel on Earth and such a sweet guy. Truly one of a kind
Danny DeVito looks like he would be fun to have as a dad
niko lugo He’s everybody’s dad!
He apparently joined Its Always Sunny in the second season because his kids liked the show
Have u seen Matilda 😂

Taxi is without a doubt the greatest comedy series of all time. Devito and Lloyd help create two of the most iconic television characters in television history. The writing, cast, acting, everything was spot-on perfect. My opinion only, of course.
Y'know; Danny Devito gets seriously over-looked as one of the best character actors ever. Look at his repertoire.
Danny DeVito not remembering that he sang in Hercules is kind of a mood
I'LL GET MY SWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORD FOR YA DANNY!
Why hasn't Danny Devito & Joe Pesci ever done any movie together.
Because no one would be able to tell them apart!
PRODUCER: "What... Pesci is busy in another movie and can't do ours?! Then get Devito... he'll do anything."
That would be badass!!!
Taxi? Right??
That Would be a good Combanation/ Two of the best.
They've never been seen in the same place.........
One movie I wish he talked about is Death to Smoochy. Great cast, humor ahead of its time, and everyone was fantastic in it. Still, great to see his thoughts on other works!
"I've had firmer handshakes, you drunk!" ☺️
That was a WILD film
A criminally underrated film.
I wish Arnold would’ve tried to get him to “pump some iron” with him like imagine a swole Danny Divito
Like Gemli
I think Arnold made a smart choice. The world isn't ready for swole Danny Devito and he would be unstoppable.
I can only get so erect
Let's just close our eyes for a sec and imagine a perfect world where Swole Trash Man exists. Ah! Life is good, isn't it?
Arnold is petty, he knew that would have meant the end of being a lead action star. Also DeVito didn't want to ruin the premise of Twins.
