Sorry for the delay getting this up. Hard at the silage the last 2 weeks. Also currently running 2 weeks behind myself with videos so there not uptodate as can be seen by the mudguard still being on the tractor
Just stay safe busy times light hearted Farmer’s understand your busy work .We do love Ireland and seeing what you do we can wait your farming can’t.Nice to see brother getting into the farming. All for now.GodBless.🌈🌈🌈☮️☮️☮️☮️☮️☮️☮️
6499 looks well fair play to bro he has an interest this year phil plus for the second job you were in that was the field that you baled in your day in may last year
21:34 - I thought I was seeing things out the side window of your tractor. A bale from a Fusion (which are heavy at the best of times) being lifted by an MF 135. And it wasn't exactly haylage either! Then I see the block of front weights on the 135 later. Even with the weights it's still some achievement for a 135
Ya might as well check for dodgy bearings too since it might be the cause of the belt quitting on ya, and of course check all your fire extinguishers are serviced. Looking forward to more bailing and seeing Eric getting the experience.
Yep Misty Jockey pulley bearings would stuff a belt it’s the small things that catch ya Learned a lot from Australia mining as they will do belt change on say 1000 hr service cheaper than a break down or worse
Cracking work. First bale's can always be a bugger 😉 😆. That's a great baler but the buzzer or security scanner at the supermarket on a school day would drive me 🤪.. Is it changeable? Our nh balers are just a high pitch screech when a bale is ready 😁😂. Tell bro he's doin no a bad job 😉 stay safe 🏴 👌 👍
Grand handy half days work 😂😂 Fair play to ta Phil. 🖒 I notice a bit of turf footed beside that last field you were in,turf season like silage season is a go. 😆
good to see an honest man baling,,, where im at lot cowboys ,,baling balloons bags of air,,,,, lot of extra cost to the farmer,,,like ur videos phil,,,
I was sitting listening to the Mchales baler box and i was thinking what does this remind me of then it struck me remind me of Macca's! Thanks for the video
Well phil great vlog,Hope you get fan belt sorted....nice time lapse of the bailing and wrapping....lovely 135 for drawing in bales farmer has..keep her lit
up here in donegal id call them boys cowboys fill ur field with bags of air,,wrapped in plastic,,, i buy in bales sometimes ,, i soon learned what a good tight bale is,,,
What did you think of the Demo poettinger mowers would you buy the mowers nice crop of silage Bro is going to be a very useful addition to the silage crew this year farmer 👩🌾 Phil 🚜🚜👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🏴🏴👌👌👩🌾
I see your using Tamar net, the Tamar net is the only stuff never gave me any bother baleing from the first bale on the roll to the last bale, thats why I use it every time.
I have a few questions for ya,any a advice I am doing a bit of balin for myself but I am getting it hard to fire out a good bale from the mower,I was thinking of getting a rake but which to get any info would be helpful cheers
Anybody know the answer to this let me know. When u turn 16 and get the liscense is there a specific weight limit u can tow behind u and does the tractor have to be a specific hp?
Didn't see you out supporting the protest in longford today. Poor form!!!(everyone's busy but no one is too busy to come out and support their livelihood and fellow farmers).
That protesting is a complete waste of time sure some of the IFA representatives were not even in agreement with that protest!! When men is busy they have to carry on with their work!
@@dannyjones7181 there was only one IFA county that disagreed you obviously dont understand that there was 30 highly successful protests so get your facts straight before you post

Good work.. if silage is made right (with high DMD and 30% DM it’s the best and cheapest fodder around) it’s takes fine management to make it though
We put wrappin instead of netting to make it easier in the winter
Look at Hollywood with his haircut and the collar up.
Hope your brother get his Licence okay

@@cilliancollins6701 hard to get a theory test and theres a possibility of the age being upped at the end of the year to i think its 18

One of the best videos yet 😎😎😎
How many laps plastic do put on 4 or 6 8 for haylage isn’t it

I have a few questions for ya,any a advice I am doing a bit of balin for myself but I am getting it hard to fire out a good bale from the mower,I was thinking of getting a rake but which to get any info would be helpful cheers
What type of mower and how wide? Some mowers leave a heavy side in the swart.
She's a 9ft
Have you heard anything about the Massey Ferguson 20ft rake,
They are a good rake.
Some 9ft leave a heavy side on a swart. So you have to compensate for it when you are baling.
why do you use black foil? in Poland they mainly use white and green
Tends to be cheaper and more readily available
Let bro take the camera for the day
How old is brother Phil
have you got jcb
We got 12 bales an acre where i live and thats very uncommon
Anybody know the answer to this let me know. When u turn 16 and get the liscense is there a specific weight limit u can tow behind u and does the tractor have to be a specific hp?
