30 years ago I was visiting an art museum that I had never been to and they had an exhibit of photographs from the 1960's and 1970's depicting the hippie culture. I was stunned to find that I was actually the subject of about a dozen of them. I remember the photos being taken circa 1968-1972 on various occasions from the time I was 8 to the time I was 12. I was naked in all the photos. This is because in that time frame I lived in a nudist commune with several relatives. It was a relative, a sort of Bohemian artist, who took the photos. Although I remember posing for them I never saw them and had no idea they had made their way to a museum. I thought they were being taken for a family photo album. I was promised they would never be shown to anyone. I did not pose in a particularly sexual way, it was just that outside of the context of a nudist commune they didn't seem appropriate for public consumption. I enquired as to how they came to be in the museum and they told me that information was confidential. So I told them I was the subject of the photos and never consented to publication. I showed them my ID. That is when they had security escort me from the building and they got a restraining order preventing me from coming within 500 feet of the museum. So I went to court. I sued. I requested in my suit that they remove the photos or redact my face and name from the exhibit. I also sued for ownership of the copyright to the photos and $100 per day per photo retroactive to the beginning of the exhibit which I found out was begun three years earlier so that would come to $1,314,000 plus legal expenses and court costs. We settled on their turning over all negatives that had my image on them plus I was granted ownership of the copyrights plus they removed my name from the exhibit and replaced it with "UNIDENTIFIED CHILD." and finally they gave me a lifetime pass for four and membership in the museum, rescinded their restraining order and gave me $50,000 compensation for past exhibit of the photos, royalties from any publication that included the photos (there was a souvenir book that had some of them in it that they sold in their gift shop) and $500 a year for as long as my photos appeared in their exhibit. I need to feature in one of these videos my doppelganger even has the same name and he was born in 1754. I couldn't believe my eyes when I seen the picture of him, he's an artist with my exact name and face from the 1700s.
Same state?
@@username_PK it's in the UK but yes, same county. Its quite remarkable he looks like my twin with my first and second name. My partner found the picture while researching artists.
@@JustDaniel6764 Might you be related? It would probably be difficult to investigate this, but just imagine if you were related - you'd have a really good story to share!
@@katharina... Well my second name is quite rare in my parts, so it's definitely a possibility he's a relation. His work hangs in the Tate gallery. Everybody i shared the picture with (Even parents) said the resemblance was jaw dropping.
@@JustDaniel6764 wow you should trace your fam. Tree
0:23 most stunning by far... as if this was a painting of her!
Someone needs to name all the paintings.
I’m no expert, but I’m quite sure that when an artist does a painting, they give it a title. And if no one know the title, the auction house makes one up. Equally the museum may have a name for the art that helps them distinguish it from other pieces.
What is it you’re asking for exactly?
Story: I was going to an art museum, and my mother was looking at some other art, and I saw a painting that looked exactly like her. My mom didn’t think so, but I took a picture and then we looked at it. They literally could have been twins.
In a brochure about a holiday resort I saw a person looking just like me in group picture of the staff working there.
Even my then girlfriend thought it’s me.
We went there and this guy really liked exactly like me. His friends, girlfriend and colleagues thought I was him.
Very creepy!
I was 23 at the time.
I met him by chance some 15 years later at a fair and we still looked kind of similar but not identical anymore.
We had developed in different ways.
Jeder hat einen Zwilling, zu jeder Zeit. Erstaunlich und sehr beeindruckend.
1:37 this is masterpiece
The self portrait of Edgar Degas at Musée d'Orsay versus
How absolutely wonderful and truly amazing!! 🥰 Lots of Love from Toronto.
Now I'm gng to museum to find myself
Oh my gosh, this is too funny ! 😂
Hello 👋 how are you doing?
0:32 then became a meme
Those are great! I have seen three friends that have doppelgänger paintings in museums.
1:24 is unbelievable
Some of these are freaking scary! Makes me believe in time travel.
Not time travel but reincarnation
@@Lantanum057 eewww that’s gross. Totally ruined the hilarious time travel comment.
@@travelwell6049hat? 💀💀
How is this time travel whatsoever anyway? Its more like reincarnation or atleast being a veryy long distant relative from nowadays generation.
@@LAZERAMVChannelOfLAZER bro its a theory
DNA MOFO DNA, never heard of it?
Proves the theory that everyones got a double.
0.25 is really incredible 😍 👏
Once a family (tourists with kids) in NYC,… all of them looking at me and whispering to each other on the train because I looked exactly like someone they knew. They couldn’t stop looking.
That was over 2 decades ago
Some were absolutely stunning and resonates too well. This world is full of mysteries.
Amazing job with this!
@1:17 Lady Agnew of Lochnaw (painted in 1892 by John Singer Sargent)
I was seeing a guy while standing in a queue who looked exactly as my chemistry teacher 😅. I was so much staring at him, he came up to me and asked if I knew him 🙂. I showed my teacher's photo to him and he also started laughing after seeing. 99.9% same look only the voice was different 😂 both wear specs both are bald both have the same face and same height. I have also shared that incident with my teacher 😂
Saw a younger version of me once, like 10 years younger. Im so freak out by that i almost screamed
Me too. About 5 years ago.
@@Bonewerkz its a very bizarre exp esp if you are not prepared.
Some would say time traveling but can others say reincarnation? This is very interesting.
I agree.. I think there's a lesson that one must learn and so we continue to live until we learn that lesson
Or maybe they are just similar and that's it.
ES NORMAL QUE HAYAN PERSONAS QUE SE PAREZCAN MUCHO A LAS PERSONAS DEL PASADO, SON GENES PARECIDOS.
People in the comments saying they met their dopplegangers and some aren't even taking pics surprises me, I've been told many times that I look like someone but never met those people. One is a kid who once goes at a school I used to go that they said commited suicide and another is the cousin of a schoolmate I've had. Hoping I could meet a lookalike someday like others here.
we are recycled people maybe?
Nice hypothesis 👍
Whoever goes to the museum in shreds has my respect
A great way to say: I'LL BE BACK❤
0:23 is legit 👌
The baby is 100% time traveller, the kid that says "Mommy, long time ago when I was older than you there was a toy shop here but now it's a park, huh?"
0:17 is so similar it's a little creepy.
The person looks scary close to my brother
0:01 He lived in Roman Empire and is back again 😲
My doppelganger painting is a self portrait of Francisco Goya. I wish I could show you.
Some don’t even look the same 😂
Well there that is😳
Hello 👋 how are you doing?
This is so cool. The blood line living thought ages.
Really interesting! Is it just coincidence or is there a scientific reason.
Si hay razón científica la genética
We are human after all.
There is always a scientific reason.
This is abt the coolest segment I think I've ever seen! 🎨🖼️💃
The fact that they all had went to museum and as you can imagine how many would be there who would have not.
Definitely something is going on behind the scene 🤔🤔
1:44 proof of the mendela effect surrounding that painting?
May be they were their ancestors whom they never knew 😅
i need empathyhealing...i have always struggled with other men so that i ended not going out anymore not approaching women anymore because this is to cruel...i hoped for your help and empathy. thank you
I have often been fascinated more by how names can bear such a similarity of personality between people with the same name. 🤔
What exactly do you mean?
I don't think so
Yes even I've observed that SEVERAL times. There have been times when I've (in my mind) predicted the names of many people just by looking at their faces & body language
they are actualy time travelers.
