If a salesman gets aggressive, give em the finger and laugh. There's no room for this crap. The reality is, I watch this for entertainment and to know what to avoid...I get the feeling most of us here feel the same. Like if so 😂 if you wait this won't be here tommorrow

That shows every thing I think about a car salesman. "You said in the first 15 minutes you had no decision maker..." wow that salesman better hold him to that or he won't be your friend anymore. I love the eye rolling around the room. What a guy!

It is the dealership's responsibility to ensure that they get the best deal possible. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that he or she gets the best deal possible. There's nothing wrong in batting for one team over the other, but no one is forcing anyone else into a deal.

Thank you! I’ve used this to teach my teenagers what to watch for to trigger IMMEDIATELY getting up and walking out. You’re a T-Rex. The internet has and will, in an accelerating manner, put an end to this nonsense you “reach.” Thanks to Tesla and the like, the next generation, and all to follow, will make care purchase without talking to a single sales person. Game. Set. Match.

The last thing a buyer needs is for the large corporations to be the ones setting prices. The dealers compete with each other so cars cost less than what is on the sticker. Your "next generation" approach would be just like buying Apple products. Everything would cost 40% more for basically the same thing.

How do you define the "difficult" mark?
Someone who is smart enough to understand financing?
Someone who cannot be sold the oils?
Someone who knows what they want and will not allow "steering" by the sales entity?
Someone who is @ the store to buy a vehicle and is not interested in nonsense?
Someone who will not allow their trade to be devalued?
Someone who understands what an extended warranty truly is?
Someone who has way more knowledge about automobiles than the sales entity?
Someone who will take time to make a decision and will not put up with pencil presentation or folded paper intimidation techniques?
Someone who can outtalk and outthink the sales entity?
Difficult or not, the sales entity must do it's job and SELL the vehicle, otherwise it has no business working @ the store

Its a mistake to discuss payments with the car salesman. Car payments are simply a function of the amount financed, interest rate and loan term. Focus on the out the door price. The car salesman has no need to know my credit or what I can afford or any of that nonsense. If you want dealer financing talk to the finance guy in the privacy of his office, but don't go in there until you have a firm out the door price.

Real easy fix for this obvious move for control, ready, Tell the guy talking to go get you a coffee while you look over the numbers. simple, you now have the control. He will do it because he wants the sale. If he does not do it, you tell him your going to leave to go grab a coffee off the lot. See what happens. your welcome. I control the deal EVERYTIME .After he returns you give him YOUR numbers.
