Love Anne mentioning the Betsy Palmer Friday the 13th story. I've heard that in an old interview she did. I actually got to meet her at a Friday the 13th convention in 2005.
Another great video from our beloved Nifty Noir Experts, Eddie & Anne ! Many thanks to you both ! I not only learn so much from your rootin ' tootin' replies, but you convey them in a wonderfully entertaining way ! Funny thing....I had my Moderna Covid-19 booster shot earlier this week & the next day I felt somewhat achy & blah. But after a good night's sleep, I was "fit as a fiddle & ready for love" the next day ! So glad both Eddie & I are back to feeling "up to snuff" ! Kudos to you both again & I hope you two have a truly wondrous weekend ! CHEERS !! :-)
You had mentioned An Expendable Man in an earlier episode, so I bought the book and read it and loved it! Ditto for Pickup, although I liked An Expendable Man more. Thanks for all your suggestions.
Good reference by Anne about Carole Clover's "Men, Women & Chainsaws". A seminal work by a great Berkeley professor.
Thanks so much for answering my questions! 😊👍
What about Mike Hammer,s wheels in Kiss Me Deadly? Vavavoom!
gorgeous early Corvette...
Peggie Castle did appear as a brunette early on but I can't give you an example.

I can't find Cry Danger on dvd or blu ray. Unless they bring the Noir Festival to Tokyo, I guess I'll never get to see it. Darn.
Cry Danger has a Blu Ray release from Olive Films available at Amazon
@@noircito68 Thanks. Amazon didn't have it, but the TCM shop does--for $15.95.
EBY BRO........AWESOME!
1.19 the actor in the Hidden Room a.k.a. Obsession is called Phil Brown. Now that movie really should get a decent release on bluray!

Still like Farewell My Lovely better than Chinatown. Nicholson can’t compare to Mitchum.
For Neo Noir you can't beat Evelyn's gorgeous pale yellow Packard convertible in "Chinatown".
hay Charlotte
The remake of Farewell my lovely is way better than the one of The Big Sleep. Which is a real stinker.😖
