This really does show exactly why Mario is one of the greatest heroes in gaming. I mean you don't really realize what superhuman agility and stamina the guy has until you look at it through his own eyes.
I agree always innovating, but I'm not a serious gamer. To me Mario three would be perfect if those whistle that took you to other world could take you backwards to previous worlds and they were infinite. I have no use for highly defined graphics of video consumed, give me the 8 bit Nintendo, and the bowling game on Nintendo Wii and I'm cool.

Nintendo actually needs to make a game like this with its next project. The Metroid Prime engine proved that it could be done, so why not do it with the Mario, Wario, Donkey Kong Country, and The Legend of Zelda franchises?

I feel like the toad and peach combined thing represents all the times that Mario thought he was going to rescue peach but instead found a toad and that was going through his mind when he went to fight bowser. Either that or RocketJump just wanted to put a little easter egg in there.

Anyone who's played that level knows it's an autoscroller, and jumping on cannonballs is pretty much all you can do until the end shows up.
