Next time disconnect your trailer plug from truck when in soft sand as the Dodge Ram will automatically engage the trailer brakes when it has wheel slippage from the truck. Learned from experience. It's like pulling a large boulder in sand once the trailer brakes engage.
Not enough side wall on the tyre there mate haha I noticed that the yanks love there big rims on the trucks. Where here in Australia it’s the opposite. Smaller rims and big tyres. That Ram would skull drag that huge ass trailer down the beach no worries running 15psi in the tyres🤪
Once he got stuck, he had to do the following: Air down truck to 15 psi, and trailer to 20psi (should’ve aired down to 15 psi prior to attempting in the first place: sand is clearly soft and he’s hauling a load) Disengage traction control (if not already disengaged) Engage 4x4Low (switch from high to Low when stuck) Activate diff locks if applicable. Hit the throttle slowly whilst gradually increasing power until movement is observed. Maintain that throttle power (do not increase throttle) until vehicle moves forward with enough momentum to proceed forward. We Middle-Easterners are way too familiar with soft sand dunes, we sometimes avoid our city traffic and cross deserts instead to take a “stress free short cut” to our destination. Beware of very fine washed white beach sand; NEVER THAT ATTEMPT WITHOUT AIRING DOWN (unless you love inconveniencing others)
I'd be hella embarassed! We mobbed my 2wd tahoe around Gordon's Well all weekend. Got stuck twice, but were able to get out on our own each time. Air down, Max Trax boards, unhook and reposition the truck, light throttle to float on the sand. His options were endless, and he chose none of them hahaha!
Get air bags for the rear. In having the the tongue of the trailer dip down puts more weight towards the hitch. That issue already gives you a bad tow, especially in the sand!Air down truck & trailer tires, carry a 10gal CO2 tank to air back up. Those stryker trailers are built heavy, had been looking at that brand.
How long does it take a 10 gallon c02 tank to air a tire from 15psi back up to 60psi? Is it faster than an arb air compressor (12v)? How many tires can one tank fill up? Thanks!
It sounds crazy but air down the trailer also and you will float across the sand. Put the truck in neutral and let the winch pull you until you are on top of the sand. This guy is throttle happy and thats the worst thing to do when in a situation like this one!!
Super late comment but aside from airing down both truck and trailer. Disconnect the weight distribution system. It takes weight off your rear tires. Causing you to have less traction with the load you have.
Well Just another reason to avoid sand.... 1st reason was the sand from the beach where the ocean is at where Jaws lives, and now this. Sand can kick rocks! 😂
The guy in that Cummins has no business there he should be driving a Prius…tries to air down once buried…and then guns it and gets it even more buried when Jeep is winching out…
Glamis funtopia is a solid dude we met him in barstow last year. My buddy rzr busted a belt and he came over and helped and actually had a spare belt he sold my friend with no mark up.. solid dude and would help me any day thanks for helping that day

Oh wow
Good to know
Interesting, I wonder if f350 wild .o that
First I’ve ever heard of this. Seems sus.
@@rabbi6225your mom is sus
10-13 psi and easy on the gas creep it and it would have eliminated all that
When people buy toys on credit they usually aren’t capable to understand logic

You have to drop truck down to 15psi & trailer down to 20psi or you’ll always end up like this.

Great info.

Yeah
Newbies always hammer the throttle. It's counterintuitive to go craw.
Can’t air down.... how else would you hold the GoPro 🤷♂️🤣
Need to air down the trailer tooo
Been doing pismo beach for yrs only way to drag trailer in soft sand air down everything
Yes.
I wonder what the winch is rated at and what the combined weight of the truck and trailer is and add in the the drag added by the sand ?
Are they hoisting it into the air? 🙄
The whole comments section: Easy on the throttle there, buddy. That's what got you into that mess.

I’ve said it like 6 times now on multiple videos “ dumbass “cali lean” whether intentional or not will automatically get stuck”
It sounds crazy but air down the trailer also and you will float across the sand. Put the truck in neutral and let the winch pull you until you are on top of the sand. This guy is throttle happy and thats the worst thing to do when in a situation like this one!!
Doesn’t look like he is aired down enough.
That guy takes care of that winch....that cable was nice a greased. 👍
guys for the last time, if you're in a ram and you don't put your mirrors up, you're just asking to get stuck

Thanks for the info!
If he had backed off the go switch he’d have popped up sooner
I have a Ram 2500 Powerwagon .
And a 2021 Stryker 2613. And yes I have firestone airbags in rear.
No Saggin POWERWAGON.
Why did he refuse to let air out
sick video im about to post one too logs of people getting stuck!!
Yeah
Well
Just another reason to avoid sand....
1st reason was the sand from the beach where the ocean is at where Jaws lives, and now this.
Sand can kick rocks! 😂
Don’t ever be scared of the sand. These people give it a bad wrap.
20 psi really put it like 10 and you wouldn’t have no problem
Yep
What is he holding in his hand?
Remote for the winch
Winch to the rescue
Man if that jeep didn't have a winch, he could have just hooked a strap and made this video half the lenght.
EVER TIRE AT 10 PSI AND 4 LOW
The guy with the truck clearly doesn’t know how to off-road spinning. Your tires is losing the race like the other guy said 10 to 13 pounds creeping.
Next time but the tire air on 10 psi and reduce the trailer tire air also
I bet that ram didn't even air down to 15
The guy in that Cummins has no business there he should be driving a Prius…tries to air down once buried…and then guns it and gets it even more buried when Jeep is winching out…
Forget the winch, use an elastic strap
Ugghh! Sucks getting stuck
Crazy huh. Camp is getting full super fast.
Air down your tires on your truck to 15 lb air your trailer tires to 20 do it when you first get to the sand
Yes
Better keep that dodge on the street. Lol
Lol
He drives that diesel like a Hemi. Full throttle all the time!
Guns it. 🤦♂️ next time air down the trailer tires too. 🙄
Oh ok
5 psi and send it!
Lol. I think 15 psi should be good too
5 psi? Watch your tire come out of the rim in soft sand and 5psi..
Was this one of your buddies ?
It was someone else but we decided just to help them.
Good for you. You can always find good people out there in the dunes

I meant would stop and help him any day
Guy driving the Dodge doesn’t know what he’s doing.
If you wanna have everything like home... Stay home.... Or buy a Landcruiser
@My Name you don't definitely. Mall tires... Lol.
It's a lot easier to air down The truck and the trailer and get out On your own
Wrong tire size...
Way to much air in the trailer and truck
Your air should be at 16 psi
Cool guy rims and tires do that...
Lmao 🤣 I agree all rim no tire fail. I keep it old school small wheels big tires air down and can go anywhere
The funny thing is he has a 3/4 ton truck and a jeep saves him..
@@groundhawg8394 Bingo! Lol
Air down that trailer guys it will help prevent this
Yu.a boys don't let this happen what a bone head driver
Wrong way to use a winch.
Stop spinning the dam wheels
Just so you know your truck is not a Dodge. It’s Ram it’s been like that for almost a decade.
Oh I didn’t know that
bruh its still dodge
So its a dodge
Using too much throttle
How about just dont bring a freakin lead weight to the soft sand and drag it. SMH
No skills !
Just don't drive onto soft sand... hahahhahahaahhahaahahahhahahahah
LMFAO I know what they did wrong
What lol
Get a tow truck
Stop gassing it!
