Cortez, to me, has become like split pea soup. As a kid, I had zero taste for them, but as I got older, I’ve learned to appreciate them. The struggle now is to find a pair that has decent leather quality. Might look into these, though. Solid review, my guy!
These look great but after owning a pair a few years ago, my feet hurt just watching this video. My pair felt like I was walking on a 1X2 piece of wood.
Nike say thwy have re engineered these so that they dont lose their shape like they used ro.....whats your thoughts, apparentkt the toe and side panels are reinforced
I really want to like the Cortez. They have a place in my heart, as I used to rock a pair of OG Cortez with metallic swoosh back in highschool, and they were DA SHIT! But sneakers tech have come too far, and these I'm afraid, have been left in the dust.
Funny how they have outlasted any other sneaker you can name though. These are Nikes first products from 1972. Name anything from the 1972 that is still here
That's hilarious you mention that because I had a personal pair of bowling shoes about 20 years ago where I wore a hole through the uppers because of my leg swing on my follow-through. I replaced the uppers with a pair of cheap (at the time) Nike Cortez because I had the same thought, they looked amazing and turning heads. If there was more of a market, I would love to turn sneakers into proper bowling shoes. Not that the current higher-end bowling shoes are necessarily bad, but I'd love to be bowling while styling some heat. 😂✅
I love the simple clean look of the Cortez, but have had 2 of them suffer from sole separation in less than 3 years.
Yikes
@@SeanGo hahahaha you cant relate with sole seps man you have tons of shoes haha

Cortez a good shoes especially in foot and style very classic even pants or short 🔥👌
Thanks for the review. Love you bro. You are the best sneaker blogger.
The Cortez Forrest Gumps are on my wish list, however they are too expensive on the resale. These are nice too. I love the vintage vibe!
Go up a whole size from what you normally wear in nike.
Thanks!@@ceasarsaran8573
Hope it releases here in Manila. Great review as always, Sean! 🙌🏻
I have entered so many raffles for these! I’m hoping I get to add these to the collection 🙏🏾 Great video, keep up the good work!
This want meant for the Jordan SB the playlist moved on to these shoes lol
Vatos locos from East LA type of shoe
Only Cortez I have and will ever need are the Kendrick Lamar ones but these are very clean.
For some reason, I get all day comfort from the Cortez. I can’t cop these because the price is double what I got my GRs for 😅

Love em!
I don’t know what you’re talking about. Cortez are in the top 10 of the most comfortable shoes ever
lol to each their own
When did the Uk size? Stop shipping Nikes ? I'm pretty sure they used to...
