I do really like your content, thanks for continuing to do it. However I do think it's important to point out that , especially for T1 items with smaller margins, it can absolutely be beneficial to find a structure instead of building in Jita 4-4. Here are some numbers for the Kikimora example you used. It's using a worst case example with respect to broker and tax on the sell, but illustrates the point still. Kikimora Sell, Gross : 52M - 5% Broker : 2.6M - 5% Tax : 2.6M Kikimora Sell, Net : 46.8M Kikimora BPC Buy : 20M Build Cost Breakpoint : 26.8M Jita 4-4 ( 12.49% Cost Index, 10% Tax ) Component Materials Cost 24,337,697.61 Manufacturing Facilities Usage 71,245.23 Total : 24,408,942.84 Net Profit : 2,391,057.16 New Caldari Sotiyo ( 9.21% Cost Index, 10% Tax ) Component Materials Cost 23,680,916.81 Manufacturing Facilities Usage 49,962.93 Total : 23,730,879.74 Net Profit: 3,069,120.26 Delta : 678,063.10 The Sotiyo structure bonus + rigs saves you quite a bit on the materials, plus usage is cheaper too. An extra 675k profit with that small a margin is fairly consequential at scale. For newer players who don't have shipping capabilities, the public freight services come in handy. Red Frog for example only charges 6M ISK one way from Jita to New Caldari, up to 845,000 m3. If you are only making one or two things, not great. But if you can plan things out right and distribute the total shipping cost there and back out over a lot of items, you still come out ahead in a lot of cases. Again, great content, just thought this point would be valuable for newer players in this space.
Hey Tom, what a great break down! Yes indeed and I do point this out in some of my earlier videos. I think for most ships moving out of Jita is recommended however on this occasion it was profitable just to buy and build in Jita. The main point is that you dont need anything like a freighter ect and that you can do it straight from Jita.

Do you know of any way to get production costs / production time of a given BPO in a given station via the eve API? If yes, does that also work with citadels?

For the noobish guys, never ever forget calculating broker fee and sales tax too. He calculates in video and I guess he has max skills and standings with jita since its pretty low, but your margin would be different so watch out, check Thomas Beecher II's comment in comments

Hey man, yes this is true I have max standings and skills (or close enough) so anyone without them will get different results.

@@nacreses3544 Run level 4 missions until you bleed. You need 7.5 standings I believe for perfect standings. ALso epic arcs can help.
