Your road trips are always so entertaining and insightful-great job, Jordan!
That was great! Nice work Jordan! Loved all the added detail and drone shots. So cool!
Very well done video, thanks for the drone shots, they made the video so much better.
Fantastic road trip video Jordan!
Quality information
Sure wish FRANCIE was w/him
Drone shots and music selection , perfect B-roll, Love it.
Watercraft are inspected when crossing the continental divide, particularly in states like Montana, to prevent the spread of aquatic invasive species (AIS) like zebra and quagga mussels, which can easily hitchhike on boat hulls and in bilge water, potentially damaging ecosystems in new bodies of water if not properly cleaned and inspected; this is considered a key preventative measure to protect native aquatic life across different watersheds.
I wish I could afford a Lucid, but until then, I’ll live vicariously through your content! 😂 great video!
LOVED THE VIDEO! I just did the White Pass Route 12 just three weeks ago. It was gorgeous. Chinook Pass also. If you ever come to Tacoma in the summer again, I recommend thinking one of those two passes. Highway 18 has been under construction since 1990.
For folk wondering why it needs new tires so soon; when it was picked up in LA from Lucid at the start of the loan it went straight to a vehicle proving grounds facility where Kyle demonstrated how well it drifted. For a long time. Much smoke was had. Most of those tires was either left on the skidpad or released into the atmosphere above the skidpad... So very, very much not representative of typical tire wear.
I've driven this route (ICE) many times. Love to see it electric wise. Thanks for sharing the road trip Jordan. And even your pain 😂
What a great road trip. So much beautiful scenery out there. ❤
I love road trips too, they're my favorite. I keep looking for places to go just so i can road trip. Lol
Love these kind of road trips videos, well paced and edited
The theme of this video seems to be lucid has a lot to fix 😂
No offense to anyone, but you are soo very much better than Kyle in demonstrating road trips. 😭
That’s a sexy unit! Love that colour
Great editing. Enjoyed it.
34:42 - should have got the $5 meal deal, added some fries and a drink to that McChicken, and kept them for later (road tripping for me means always taking my insulated lunchbox).
Enjoyed!
Im so hooked on these videos! Makes me want to road trip in my 2024 i4 just to see how it does!
I love EVs and camping so I'm hoping to combine 'em like this someday. Fun to watch, thanks!
Also, loved the view of the Vantage bridge crossing the Columbia river. I grew up near there and it has been a long time since I've seen that area. Reminds me of my childhood
Fantastic road trip
Please make a video that tells us where Lucid needs to improve like the Navigation problems and the screen viewing while charging.
This video will help the community delivering those improvements to Lucid Devs.
Safe travels Jordan
Love these road trip videos. It is the reason i first watched Kyle. Excellent music selection. That car is very quiet inside..Seems silent in there at 80mph+
I’m so glad you are showing how far the EV infrastructure has come in Wyoming. I live in northwest Wyoming with a Mach-e and I can go everywhere. Cheers!
He pulled you over to look at your EV. It's happened to me a couple of times when I was just going the speed of the traffic flow, and I always just got a warning.
A warning? For what?
@@joeyyung911 Speeding. Like Jordan in this video. I was going the speed of the traffic around me. I'm sure I was picked out because I was driving an EV. Happened twice. Does that explain it?
He’ll ya that’s me waiting for coffee shops to open !
A little pro tip: Truck stops have showers that cost about $10-20.
So you can clean up, maybe grab a meal while charging.
Great teaser for the big race!
Its kind of funny how when you guys actually do road trips a 10% challenge scenario never happens but when you do 10% challenges you always describe it as a real life road trip scenario.
IONNA should just go ahead and buy EA, rip out all those crappy chargers they use, and replace them all with Alpitronic and/or Kempower chargers.
Best Western has been leaning into EV charging at least around Texas and surrounding states, not my favorite hotels but I’ve had good luck with their chargers and free juice for a not overpriced hotel is usually worth the slightly less high end hotel.
ID4 managed in the high 2s mi/kWh doing similar speeds. I'd say this car is an absolute road tripping champ.
Somebody’s still rocking a Pontiac Trans Sport at 20:17
I was the first person to charge at that EA in Billings the day it went online; those are nice chargers.
I love the Tesla App to plan a trip and if i like it just send to the car, Lucid needs that funtion.
Our two “major” malls here in Colorado Springs are the same way - the majority of the retail spaces are empty. 😕
Hello from Golden Colorado 👋🏻
45 second charging handshakes multiple stalls and no preconditioning, lucid you’re doing great 😂 my plaid is so effortless I’d almost say too easy just plug in 6 sec handshake and good speeds every time no fuss no fight.
The charging handshake is more of an EA problem than Lucid. As for the preconditioning, Jordan had to turn on the auto feature since Kyle disabled it for the 10% challenge. Once Lucid is able to charge on Tesla stalls, the charging experience will be much better.
@@TheReal_JGI agree with your comment if you are referring to the new style type 4 1000 volt Superchargers, but how many of those are out there? OOS have always pointed out that a Lucid EV charging speed is limited to approximately 50 kilowatts per hour, when connected to a typical Tesla 500 volt DC fast charger. Am I wrong on this?
@@kiwi335d on the slow Lucid charging on the older Tesla chargers, yes that’s what I understand too. And as to how many v4 chargers there are, there are zero. The v4 dispensers we see some places still have v3 chargers and they are the limiting factor.
@tomm5936 There are some new V4 chargers being installed at the Temple, TX Buccees. Once they open, I'll see if they are a true V4 charger.
@@TheReal_JG No sir that is a "Lucid" problem if a company that doesn't have the forsight to build it's customers chargers and especally when they icharge 120k+ for their cars with half baked technology.
Sure do like th way Jordan road trips-js
Would have loved to see butt, Montana. But it was already dark
Wow, another Ford (Lincoln) on 🔥 who would have guessed.
The all watercraft check is to check for invasive water species. Here in BC and Alberta we have increased inforcement for several invasive species.
Ea needs service reps actually driving around the country to make sure each EA station is working properly..
Love the drone shots, such a beautiful drive.
Since its electrify america, its Always Be Confused ,if its charging yet
You should have come to Coeur dalane downtown!
Get a Bray windshield PPF / Skin you won’t have to worry about glass cracks ever again.
Invasive species inspection. Zebra muscles on water craft is my guess.
Maybe I missed it, but why did you go to Tacoma when your destination was Seattle? You went out of your way for that stop.
Every one of these videos there's issues with the charging infrastructure except generally Tesla.
Welcome to car camping lol !😂
Ain’t got no time to fix no windshield
Every car I’ve driven just dims the lights when you put the headlights on 🧐
In Australia you would get a $150.00 fine that....
Spo-can
The car has 4k miles on it, and it already needs tires?
When it was picked up in LA from Lucid at the start of the loan it went straight to a vehicle proving grounds facility where Kyle demonstrated how well it drifted. For a long time. Much smoke was had. Most of those tires was either left on the skidpad or released into the atmosphere above the skidpad... So very, very much not representative of typical tire wear.
Not af an of Tidal? Try Qoboz.
"this is a route and region that most people don't think about driving EVs"
My first ever EV road trip (and first time in an EV at all) was driving from Fort Collins, CO to Seattle, WA, then up to Vancouver, BC, across to Calgary, AB, down to Montana, out to Utah, and then back to Colorado. In the dead of winter. It was exciting, to say the least. Kind of a funny comment from Jordan, considering this was the region I thought of driving an EV in for the first time.
Haha 120k car and you sleeping in the vehicle? Probably not a regular customer experience :)
Very true 😂
Looks like a grandpa ev version of a dodge charger
Doesn't the Lucid Gravity still have an even bigger version of that screen? they definitely didn't take it off
Yes, a 12.5 inch (at least that is what I found) horizontal screen located at about the same level as the steering wheel on the dash.
@@RoninHardyea that’s there too but I think he’s talking about the lower screen. In front of the center console
Helen ah
If You're charging port is in front. Why are you backing in?
I went to that Wyoming charger in July, can't believe they haven't fix it yet
They sent the parts by horse, they haven't been heard from since.
How could you possibly need new tires if the car has less than 5,000 miles on it.
I da Ho?
So the entire problem was a car pulled off to the side but your hour lost was due to the incredible stupidity of simple rubber necking. Idiots that don’t wish to stop gawkingTO PUSH THE DAMN PETTLE. This is a master class of why stupid people should not be issued a license to waste so much our time.
Needs new tires with only 5000 miles on the car? Yikes, how bad are those OE tires

❤ lucid
As a Tesla owner, this is just a big PIA.
god dam EA what the hell is wrong with your company.. amazing you can offer charging with the shit you offer.. such bull shit.. no bull
EA is only there to satisfy the judgement for VW Diesel cheating so I don't think they really care / don't want to spend any more money than they have to.
