If you're even contemplating a Bernina machine, you don't tend to be the kind of person who'd fret over the price - it's the Rolls-Royce of sewing machines. As the saying goes, if you have to ask how much it is, the chances are you can't afford it... 🥴 That said, reconditioned Bernina machines are very good value imo.
