- Is the PS3 still worth collecting for in 2024? This system is severely underrated and I wanted to make a video showcasing how many great games are still on it. There are tons of hidden gems trapped on the PS3 as well as great affordable alternatives to buy many of these games which are on more modern platforms such as PS4 and PS5.

I got about 65 games on PS3. Okay maybe about 45 if i ain't counting my wife's games too.
when I'm home I'm playing my PS3. When I'm away i got my ps vita
Warhawk the official online was shut down in 2019 but PSONE community revived the servers. Great collection enjoy. There so many good games in that era..
Still enough space on the HDD?
Quality over quantity. I think it’s important that if you collect it, you should play it. Curate your collection. If you don’t like it, or won’t play it, sell it. Your collection should represent what you actually like, have played, and enjoy. And also games you want to play. I’m not any better haha… but I decided this year, I’m only playing PS3. That’s all I’ve done, and I honestly haven’t felt like a kid in a long time until this year. Uncharted was incredible, battlefield 3 and 4, also insanely good with active online multiplayer lobbies. I might not play another system for several years while I complete my collection.

I still use my Ps3, some games are still fun and lots I still need to finish. Also a lot of games started on PS3 and I still want to play those
cool video 🤙 i recently got my ps3 out of the wardrobe and got playing again because of of all these 'games online 2024 ps3' videos. rainbow six vegas 2 is still active on the multiplayer now, lot's of people play in the co op terrorist hunt. rainbow six vegas 1 though is like ghost town with no match found at search. i like playing tomb raider 2013 multiplayer that's still active aswel 🤙 it might all shutdown soon, who knows, but might aswel enjoy the games while they are still up 🤙

I saw your other video so this one popped up. I have 3 PS3s, I liked them so much. I still regard PS4 as the best gen, but the PS3 is pretty close behind. One thing that I find a lot of "PS3 Games" videos is the huge, fun Rock Band craze that this gen had. It was the ultimate party game. RB brought people together like nothing before it and nothing since. Still have the sets (but not played in years lol)
Yeah, rock band was so good! I still have all the dongle adapters to the controllers just in case I decide to ever go buy the controllers again. A buddy of mine and his girlfriend used to come over and we used to play all the time. He would play drums, she would sing, and I would play bass. It really did bring people together.

Look at the bright side, you don’t have to keep putting a disc in every time you wanna play the game. Plus, the fact that people are still buying stuff on the store shows Sony that people still have an interest in it and maybe it’s not the time to take it down yet.

My first ps3 game was James Cameron’s Avatar and it was TERRIBLE. But the ps3 holds a very special place in my heart. I remember spending HOURS into the night grinding Demon’s Souls. Such a fantastic system i wish i still had mine 😢
There’s never been a better time to pick one up and collect for. It’s crazy how cheap the games still are. That being said, it’s also possible to emulate PS3 games on PC depending on how powerful your PC is.
200+ and counting, im trying to gain everything i can before they go way above like the ps1 and ps2 stuff.
Other than the uncharted games the last of us is the best action adventure game on the ps3 hands down!
Very nice collection PK! I always thought Red Dead Redemption broke PS3 consoles, it could have been a fake rumor. But that's the main reason I never played that game 😂
Now I wonder if I'll ever see my car in a future racing game, I have an Acura Integra Type S. That would be cool!
I can honestly say I’ve had zero problems with red dead redemption on PS3 .
That would be pretty neat to see your car in a game . I wish I could find a game that had an ‘88 Ford Thunderbird in it like the one I had when I was a teenager.
Nice I've got the same Assin's creed games on Blu-ray for the PS3. I'm doubting to get the DLC for them

Original Assin's Creed on PS3, get IV onwards on PS4, get the ones for PS5 on PS5

Dude you need to play the last of us. one of the best game of all time. they remade it for the ps5. if you have a ps5, you should do a live play.

Put a 1 TB SSD in the PS3 instead of the 320 GB HDD, 320 GB isn't enough. 1 TB might be to much. It's just easy to find a 1 TB SSD
( to the first minutes : ) the ACreed on ps3 has Black Flag and Rogue as well sooo you're halfway plus the 007 titels include not only a Legends but there also is a ps3 Bond game where one plays all the bad guys not James Bond. Not my liking so not sure if that's still on my shelf hh

This video is very long. I just have one PS3 game which I actually got for free from a bookstore which had thrown it away. It is one that is in your collection. It is Assassin's Creed.
