    Those cars sounded glorious back then. Imagine what those cars could have done with the grip modern f1 cars have.

      They would be like 7s faster than modern cars in qualifying. In the race its even crazier cause modern cars start to slow down straight away after the start because the battery is so bad, but those cars had 900+ HP at up to 19k RPMs available the full race so it was push push push from start to finish

    Hier sieht man es ganz klar, Schumi startet irgendwo im Nirgendwo und dennoch kann er in der ersten Runde nicht einfach am Heckspoiler seines Vordermannes kleben. Sieht man heutzutage Hamilton, der würde nach jeder Kurve wo man überholen konnte einen neuen Fahrer vor sich haben oder auch Max dieses Jahr. Trotzdem wurde Schumi so oft Weltmeister in diesen Saisons.
    Der Beste in dem was er tat

    why is michael starting in the middle of the grid?

    • @RodFelix
      @RodFelix 5 лет назад +13

      he'd qualified 14th. back then the qualifying rules were different: 1 lap per driver and schu has runned on wet conditions

    • @acidsons3116
      @acidsons3116 5 лет назад +3

      The 1st qualifying session with one lap per driver was on Friday, in the order of the championship, Schumi was the first to drive and he was 3rd. The classification of that session determined the order in which they were driving for the Saturday qualifying session, which decided the grid. Since he was 3rd on Friday, he was the 18th one to drive. That would have meant great conditions on a dry track, but it started raining when he got out of the pits, so he couldn’t do better than 14th, while the others drove on a dry track.

    During this year Ferrari delayed launching their new F2003 until a few races in, and still Schumacher was competitive in the F2002. But why ??

    • @classicsportclassictiyl8547
      @classicsportclassictiyl8547 4 года назад +3

      because the F2002 was that dominant the previous year and the F2003GA wasn't 100% reliable by the time the season started they had engine problems testing it at Fiorano Ferrari's test track. Ferrari's initial plan was bring out the F2003GA at Imola but Badoer had crashed it and Barrichello and The Michael had engine problems testing at Mugello and Jean Todt didn't want to take any risks.
