- Welcome to episode 1 of our Princes Cruises Regal Princess France and Spain cruise.
This will take you through the boarding process for Regal Princess and also our first evening onboard.
We were in deluxe balcony M721 located aft ship, on deck 15 starboard side.
We paid £799pp for this cruise on Regal Princess and sailed on September the 30th.

About Us
We started cruising in 2014 by doing a mini break on P&O Aurora. Making videos of our cruises and sharing our experiences has become our hobby, they may not be to everyone's tastes but they are our way of remembering the great times we've had, so please keep this in mind - we are not professionals and the complete video is shot and edited on an iPhone in our spare time. The videos are our opinions and experiences while on board.
We may not be the youngest cruisers but we are trying to break the stereotype that cruising is for retired people. On a cruise you will normally find us wondering around the ship taking in the atmosphere (and working our way through the cocktails). Make sure follow us on social media, the links are below.

Heading on our first Princess cruise on the Regal in April for my aunts 80th birthday. About 20 of us going and your videos have me in stitches! When you did the wardrobe tour and said “These are all our ball gowns” and it was literally a bunch of tropical dress shirts and hoodies 😂

Fantastic vlog. I was close to tears watching the hairdryer segment! Never seen Luke so merry before! I could tell you guys were so happy to be on board! The toiletries looked different to Sky Princess, is it not standard on all Princess ships?
Hahaha, that was so funny, we were in stiches! THink all the excitement caught up with us, and the free pouring of gin! I think they were lotus spa on both Sky and Regal when we went on.

loved this ne as much as all the other ones, you guys never fail to make us laugh and i watched it over and over, i loved the hairdrier bit cant let that machine hold you back from the alcohol ,so gav just chuck it on the balcony an lets hit them bars,thats what i think was in your heads, , it was well funny scene. and luke sorry to say you was the light weight on the drinks that night as gav was still awake and you had flopped out on the bed, this is the sort of things that make you both the best vloggers out there,yiu get what you see and you never change to please others, love that side of you guys, cant wait to next week for the next bit. have a great week guys, jim&deb

Fantastic vlog guys, such great Friday night viewing 😃. As others have said, the hairdryer segment was hilarious and so soon after boarding too 🍷🤣🍺. Loved the comment about room for your gowns, as I always say to my partner "oh look lots of room for your frocks" when we check out the wardrobes for the first time 😆 . We always pack way too much as well and the wardrobes are usually bursting by the time we have filled them!. Loved the bathroom and toiletries tour too 😀. Gagging for the next vlog ❤️🚢

We had our first ever cruise experience on the Regal last August 2021. Loved everything about it. Fantastic introduction to cruising. Have 3 cruises booked this year so far (definitely bitten by the bug) on 3 different cruise lines - 2 short, one 1 week (Cunard, P&O, MSC). Will certainly be back on Princess again. Really enjoy your videos 🙂

Hi guys… we are on the same ship tomorrow morning.. sat 23rd Oct…! Cant wait, no sleep for us tonight! Is there anyone you forgot to say thanks to that we can on your behalf… ? We know how great Princess crew are and sometimes in the rush we forgot once and quite a job to get any messages directly to a particular crew member..
… anyway watch your vids on Princess is so nice and gets our juices going for our next one.. glad you had a great time away… we did stay for the four nighter last July seacation on Regal and got a deluxe premium with the massive balcony and was so huge… thanks guys and maybe bump into you on a cruise in coming years.. we are on the Sky twice in 2022… blessings, john

Glad you enjoyed! Yeah, we may struggle to go back inside. QV is a lovely ship - we love Cunard ships, they feel really special. Don't worry, we never find them stuffy, we've done several cruises and always want to go back.

Loving Princess! It was a slider switch, so the middle was off hahaha... had to put it outside as the room was getting too hot. June is going to be AMAZING! :)
Looks like you're having a great time so far and it's always great to see Y Ddraig Goch flying :) We can't wait to get back on board Regal Princess next week when we're off to Rotterdam. With the reusable cups, we didn't have them on Regal in July, but we did on Sky in September so perhaps it's something they have started doing now.

I love Regal! The boarding seemed so organized and stress free even with the Covid tests. Too bad about the weather. We have done Enclave before, good choice it’s super relaxing! Super excited to get back to cruising! Ours is finally within sight! 😍😍

Hey guys just started watching your regal princess cruise, plan on watching all of them but when you said your cabin steward was rusty I was surprised because I had Rusty as a cabin steward for an Alaska cruise on golden princess September 2019 he was awesome he’s a real sweet guy. My wife and I and our friends both really enjoyed him as our steward for both our cabins.
That’s amazing! Rusty was totally awesome we did get a picture with him on one of the nights think it was the second vlog, then you can see if it’s the same guy! He was truly fantastic!

Hey guys…glad you went directly to enclave…I am on the Sky Princess in December for 10 days and i have booked my pass for the entire cruise..ENJOY
It was a must do for us as the weather wasn't going to be good. The one on Sky is very similar to Regal, but dont think the 2 water beds are on Sky.
@@CruiseMonkeys The information on SKY says it does but we will see, my best thing is the hydrotherapy pool, and light steam chamber infused with herbal aromas❤️

Did you say you had French Onion Soup? Yes, you did! I have no idea whether it is really French, but if it is not French, it should be! I love it and greedily consumed it when I was last in Paris so many years ago. You can get packaged versions, but there is no comparison with that and when you try the properly made versions.

We love both they are very similar but Sky is slightly better, newer, the decor is more modern and the ship has some improvements in design (the aft wake pool etc). The service and tech onboard princess ships, from what we’ve experienced so far is absolutely fantastic! We’re really glad you enjoyed the vlog! Thanks for taking the time to comment too! 👍🏻

Do you guys stress about weather before a trip? I am constantly checking my weather apps and stressing about it.....even though I can't do anything about it!
We don't stress too much, but we do tend to look to try and judge it and plan around it. More often than not we end up with rain! haha.

Girl! You wasted no time getting your drink on! Exactly how it should be! LOL! BTW, how were you able to get a bottle of gin onto the ship? I thought they only allowed one bottle of wine/bubbly per person. We're sailing on Enchanted Princess for a 10 day Caribbean in January, so I'd love to know if we can bring on a bottle.

Yep, They covered Ocean Terminal in them a year or two ago. The new Horizon terminal is also covered in them.

@@CruiseMonkeys yes we had better weather for UK staycation. There was about 30 of us who did a back to back, menus and entertainment were repeated for the second week

It wasn't a problem for us as we watched a couple of things we had missed the previous week and a lot of our menu choices were well worth repeating.
