In those thirty minutes I....... 1) Watched your video on Caramel Pecan Bars which I plan to make several times for the holidays 2) Became a Patreon supporter again (finally able to do so financially) 3) Ordered your cookbook on Amazon (sooooo excited!) 4) Liked and commented on this video (already a long times subscriber, fan and friend) To those who don't know, Gretchen has been a key person in my going and staying vegan for a year and three months with no looking back, thank you Gretchen for all that you do.

Ok I think you would get a lot more interest in your FANTASTIC vegan baking book if you bring it up more often like you did here. Saying this recipe is on page 150-151 already written down for you to use after you watch this video. My mouth is watering for these Caramel Pecan Bars. Your book is such an incredible resource people need to hear about everything in it. I find it fascinating how you keep learning and tweaking your recipes occasionally to make them easier and better. For example egg substitutes. Your book rocks as do you.

As you know I have moved to Florida and while the peaches are in abundance, I am very sad & worried to say I am having a VERY HARD time finding my regular vegan ingredients!! I cannot for the life of me find vegan cream cheese for my EPIC Cheesecake recipes!! If all else fails I will have to drive an hour ++ to Jacksonville!

Thank you for providing a recipe that isn't interpreted as "healthy." Sometimes we want that good old fashioned sugary, bad for us treat. I can't tolerate nuts and I have read that pretzel pieces can be subbed for the pecans. Your book just went in my Amazon cart.

Gretchen, have your book on display in your videos. There are people on several channels I subscribe to who have a cookbook, and they display it in their videos,. There’s no shame in the game of selling your book in your videos. Back in the day, when people had books to sell, they went on talk shows, or book signings, and since those ways have gone by the wayside, you have to sell your book however you can sell it.
Looks amazing and delicious. What is about sweets that bring a smile when you look at them and an even bigger smile when you eat them!!! Thank you for the wonderful recipe.

Yes! recipe here with written instructions :) **However in the written recipe I use a 9" x 13" pan, not the 9" x 9" I used here, so I tweaked the recipe slightly for a smaller batch for this video- since do I really need to eat ALL OF THESE!??? Also, I have used pumpkin seeds and sunflower in place of the nuts since I also knew someone allergic to basically ALL THE NUTS! :D
