When I bought my S5: "I'm not going to modify the exhaust at all" After seeing this: "okay, maybe just a little bit" Now I know if I do anything it'll be this. Great video thanks dude 👍
Lol that’s usually how it goes 😅 the start of the snowball! It’s honestly the perfect exhaust mod not too loud or raspy and not too quiet. Thanks for watching!
@@ftbvicious5287 hell yeah I appreciate you! More coming soon, I’m wrapping the S5 right now. It’s gonna be dope when I’m done. Also a new video for the S4 coming soon. Just need to finish editing!
sick car man it sounds awesome. I just got a 2010 s4 7 spd dsg and love it so much. The cold air intake is what makes the supercharger sound so good right? or is it pulleys?
Hey man, love the car. I’m looking at getting this on my own S4. Does it drone at all on long trips? I’m wanting a good balance of noise when I want it but not too droney when cruising at highway speed. Any help is appreciated. Thanks man!
What’s up man! No drone at all, you can barely even hear the exhaust with the windows up unless you’re accelerating hard. It’s definitely louder than stock but nothing noticeable while just cruising.
Did you say 2 mufflers 2 resonators and 2 cats? I’m curious bc I’m trying to build one and I dont see the 2 resonators. I see the 2 cats and 2 mufflers I’m new to this so correct me if I’m wrong
Correct. So from factory there’s two mufflers, the center resonator which was removed with the mid pipe, two more resonators on the down pipes and the two cats. If you Google “stock b8 Audi S4 exhaust” there should be some diagrams to show everything!
I took it to a shop, I went to a smaller little muffler shop so I think they only charged me like $70. If you go to a bigger shop they’ll probably charge more. I would recommend though it sounds a lot better than stock.
It's too raspy for my taste. I have a S5 and removed the rear mufflers, replaced them for straight pipes and much bigger exhaust tips. The sound is much deeper and lower.
Not a fan of muffler deletes, they are typically more raspy and have a crappy exhaust note. I agree this mod is a bit raspy but could be sorted with the addition of a small resonator or something. But for the money, can’t beat it.
Peter is correct! I have the Integrated Engineering cold air intake on the car. Here’s the install video If you want to check it out: ruclips.net/video/Ixg3qV-o1EQ/видео.html
They definitely both bring a smile but for very different reasons! The S5 gives you the power band and the raw sound of the N/A V8. It’s quick but not the fastest, definitely just a fun car to drive around and enjoy. The S4 is significantly faster/quicker(it is tuned). But you get the amazing supercharger whine and the V6 sounds pretty good as well. Will that being said if say they make me smile equally but for different reasons 🤣 S5 was also my childhood dream car lol
How you liking it after a month? I've been wondering what this paired with aftermarket resonated "downpipes" would sound like. Also, I love that blue colour!
I still love it, good tone not too raspy or anything. Good amount of noise as well. Not too sure how it’ll sound with down pipes… it might cross over that line of sounding good lol. Thank you! I still don’t think I’ve seen another one with the same blue in person yet.
100mph, ARE YOU DYING FOR A HORRIFIC CITATION??? I dislike throttle blippers, I do not understand why anyone would do it. FEEDBACK: • overall, it does sound better without the midpipe. • a bit droanie when not WOT • @WOT, sounds nice. Looking at the speedometer while you were driving, the engine seemed to spool up much faster ..)

xpipe + supercharger whine sounds dope as hell
Facts! Nasty combo!!
Bought this because of your video! Nice work dude.
Thanks! It’s a great mod for the money!
Thanks for the video! Just started looking at exhaust and didn’t wanna drop a grand plus on a kit. This is a deal breaker I love it 😁 Preciate it
Absolutely it’s just right and for less than 500 bucks you can’t beat it! The ECS one sounds way too raspy to me so it was a no go lol
@@tariqsamuels8578 yea the ECS one seems cheaply made aswell for ECS standards lol.
@@laze_chips7762 facts lol idk why though! they sell pretty high quality stuff for the most part..
This was an amazing mod! It gives it the perfect amount of sound and it’s a beautiful sound😍
Just enough, nothing more nothing less! Your turn next 👀
I just did the same on my b8.5 6mt it’s a great mod for the money
Sounds great Tariq - nice job! I'm looking forward to the upcoming S5 content
Thank you, thank you! S5 content is indeed on the way!
This is the first video I’ve seen and I love the sound. What intake are you running? I want to do that on my ‘14 s4
I’m running the integrated engineering intake, I think it sounds the best out of them all. Plus it’s not that expensive.
Just subscribed bro! I just got an 18 s5 Sportback ready to start the mods process myself.
Thank you brotha! Congrats on the new whip! That thing is gonna be NASTY once you get started modding it 🥵

Sounds great, might have to do the same on my SQ5!
Would highly recommend! Not too expensive, not too loud!
I did mine and was very very underwhelmed with the db upgrade. Flow is better but noise barely increased.
Interesting, I just did the mid pipe and it seems quite a bit louder to me
Do you need 034Motorsport tune to achieve it or can u just run the res delete + cold air intake.
Don’t need the tune for either. But I would highly recommend the tune, really wakes the car up.

@@jjones121 for sure! Also one of the cheaper exhaust options lol
Sounds nice! you should look to swap out the diffuser next
Thank you! Yeah it definitely needs some help lol
Does the S4 have the valved muffler though? Or is that just the 4.0t s6?
I don’t believe so, at least mine did not!

DECENT Exhaust Mod. Best is AWE Touring with Non-Res Downpipes (;
For $200 it’s the best 😅 I’m sure that setup does sound sick though!
@tariqsamuels8578 yes sir!! I started with that setup before I saved up enough for the awe!

@@tariqsamuels8578, like i said, using bigger exhaust tips is a world of difference!
Do you still have the muffler on in these clips?
Indeed! Full stock exhaust besides the midpipe.
How do you have such a loud supercharger sound?
The aftermarket intake.
