@@tariqsamuels8578it’s got an intake and 034 resonator delete….. and just has a custom Dyno tune and it made 403WHP and 350WTQ on a mustang dyno

hey bro I’m thinking of buying a b8.5 s4 soon. Do you think it’s worth it in 2024 and also do you think buying one at 100k miles or more is a bad idea?
There are some heavy services that come around 100k miles. I would be careful and watch a few buyers guide videos. But for the right price and good service history i would personally buy, it’s a great platform.

Is there a way to de-tune for smog purposes?
Yeah you can always tune back to stock. But I don’t think it’s worth the trouble of reinstalling the cats once a year. Would be quite the hassle

No cel with the race pipes? I'm consist going with a jackal tube and just drilling the inside out of my cats and was wondering if I'm getting a cel.
The JHM tune, tuned out the CEL for the cats. Not sure about the jackal tune
The black wirh aluminum inserts -- called Beaufort-- are suoer rare as they were an expensive option ($1200). It's actually a veneer and highly desirable on the used market. Cool video on how Beaufort is made if search RUclips...

You can turn that speed limit warning off in the MMI, I did because everytime I hear that beep it makes me think I got an engine light on
also, I got the same grille in carbon fiber and I feel like its naked without the quattro badge, highly recommend you get one on there in the lower part of the grille
Yeah It used to bother me but I got used to it, it’s useful to have lol sometimes you don’t even know you’re movin like that!
Not the biggest fan of the Quattro on the grille, I like it plain Jane!

First video i came across from your channel, i like the content! Ever consider doing a rwd conversion? The reduction in drivetrain loss and weight on its own makes it a must have mod on the B8 S5 imo, really any B8 unless you live in Alaska. Of course the added fun is one of the main selling points, but more power to the ground, less weight, better driving dynamics? Surprised i haven’t seen more people do it
Thank you! I have thought about It, I think it would be dope. I believe JHM has a reversible kit that can be installed to feel it out before fully committing. Are you running RWD?
@@tariqsamuels8578 I actually have a W204 at the moment, but i’m looking at getting into a B8 as a toy to mess around with. A rwd conversion would be among the first mods when that day comes. I didn’t know jhm made one, i know ecs has a conversion kit and it seems like a better option compared to welding the stock unit.
@@PapiAndrey the S5 is going to have a lot less power than that W204 😅 but drop it on some coil overs and throw it on some summer tires and it’s a super fun car! Let me know when you end up getting it!

That’s true if you use self tappers, I used the nuts and bolts that came with the lip so I had to take the bumper off. Thanks for watching! 🙏🏾

Depending on spec and miles you can probably get one for anywhere from 15k-25k
Have you ever experienced the EPC light in the b8.5 s4? having a consistent code that won't go away and continues to pop up even after solving the codes.
I have not, the one thing I got was the code for the PCV. Which I only got when driving the car extremely hard. But I’ve since had the PCV service which seems to have resolved that issue. Have you had an Audi or a shop look into it, or have you googled the code?
My b8 occasionally had the EPC and code multiple random misfire, new ignition coils did not fix it, new plugs did not fix it either. Eventually got a carbon clean and decided on replacing the pcv since they had to take the supercharger off. Have not had the code appear since.
I have the AWE s-flo intake kit on my S5 snd the inlet tube is even wider than that one, but you’re correct, there is a bit of a kick in acceleration, due to the increased airflow coming both in and out through the aftermarket intake/exhaust respectively. I love how the S5 looks in white, yours is a beaut 🤩

I did mine and was very very underwhelmed with the db upgrade. Flow is better but noise barely increased.
