Thanks a lot! A few tips: Try to do it in a clean environment, otherwise hairs will be an issue When disconnecting the LED strips, lift the connector straight up. doesnt disconnect by pulling them (I broke one 🤦) When disconnecting the panel connector, you need to face the connector, pull the little black tab towards you, and the connector will come out easy. Do not use screwdrivers or anything like that, its really fragile When removing the diffusing panels, try to keep them all together and not separate them... again, hairs and random dirt can get in Good luck!
So this morning I started experiencing some flickering with my LG LED. I've seen this problem before. Most likely I have a problem with one of the LED strips maybe two. Now I've never fix a TV before but I have actually done a pretty good job repairing a couple of Samsung phones with broken screens. Surprisingly years ago I've actually had done some research on how to replace LEDs on a TV and if it was cost efficient. If you know you're doing the placement of the LEDs doesn't seem super complicated, as soon as I order that LEDs and I attempt to replace them, I'll come back and let you know how it went. Thanks for the tips
Useful video. Could you give me details on the led strip model u are using for replacement? I have the exact same TV with the exact same issue since a couple of days...
Hi Can you if possible share the link with the strips you have bought ? I see a lot of them but unsure if I will buy the correct ones and I dont want to buy 2 times and spend more than needed.. i hope you understand :D Very useful video
@@Brads1Cent thanks for replying. I think I found the appropriate ones and awaiting them to arrive. Cant wait to start the change and finally watch something without hurting my eyes with that blue tint..
@@haydenangels well done! be careful in handling the parts, i cut myself in the process, be really careful, the edges are sharp. Wear protective gloves if u have one.
@@Brads1Cent thanks for the advice, I just opened it all and got to the point where I need to disconnect the light strips and I cant find the proper way to detach the cables plug from the slots :D I guess it will take time hehe its never a straightforward process :D Your tutorial is the best !!
What was the reason you've replaced, was your screen really buleish/purpleish tinted? If it was, propably I'm facing the same issue... Where did you bought the strips?

What that thicker plastic piece on the bottom of those sheets?
if ur talking about the white sheet, its the reflector. it makes the led lights spread brighter. the back light

Yes it was really purple/bluish. i bought them from ebay.
@@Brads1Cent Cool, thanks mate! :)
How do you know it's the LED and not the inverter?
no lights on some parts of the strips so its not the inverter, because if it is, all leds should be not working
I wonder which video are you watching on the telephone?
my own video hahaha
no way ! can you please share it with us?
@brads1cent
Im sorry that was long time ago, i dont have it anymore
