    One time, when I was in high school, we had an English class assignment to bring in a tape of a song and describe what it's about. My friend brought "Girls, Girls, Girls" and described it as "a song about clubs." I brought "Comfortably Numb" by Pink Floyd. The class was never the same after that. As a matter of fact, the teacher was so impressed by my song that we watched "The Wall" in class later on. Ahh, the days of being a teen in the 80s...

    • @rbilleaud
      @rbilleaud 2 года назад +4

      I love all the comments from people who don't believe this comment. All from millennials no doubt. You guys just don't realize. Society was much more permissive in a lot of ways back in the 60s and 70s. You didn't have the wide acceptance of "alternative lifestyles" like today, but people weren't offended by every little thing. Parents didn't call up the school just because a teacher showed a movie that might scar little Judy's psyche. If her parents were anything like my dad, he'd be like, "good, that'll give my boy a taste of reality". My parents were good attentive parents who cared about my education, but when it came to what was being taught in my classes, they didn't have any clue. There was no such thing as a syllabus. You just learned whatever the teacher wanted to teach. I totally believe this guy actually saw an R rated movie in school. Word probably did get back to the administration, but like most schools back in the day, it was swept under the rug. Look, if they managed to cover up rampant sexual abuse of kids for decades back then, surely showing an R rated movie would have raised few eyebrows.

      I'm glad to just hear this WHAT!! ( SOFT VERSION????) I say let's keep all of the music CLEAN, what's the point of listening to vulgar, nasty, and straight up just a waste of time to minds!! This is exactly why I watch Jamal aka Jamel, this man is a Straight Up a righteous dude. He doesn't need to cuss in order to entertain us either. I don't know Jamal on a personal level none of us do, but I'm great at pegging people within just a few minutes. While talking with someone you just maybe met, making eye contact while talking, their actions, body language, and many other little signs can tell a lot about a person. And watching Jamal doing his music reactions, we all see a sincere human, he's the real deal, no putting on an act, no dirty talk, or (trash talk) what ya see in this man, is exactly who he truly is, decent, sincere, compassionate, extremely likeable, fun, just good damn people, PERIOD!!! Love & respect this dude ☺️☺️☺️🎶🎶🎶 Jamal aka Jamel continue to keep your music clean, thank you for giving us some peace, even if it's just for a short period of time, your reaction channel makes my day...
      Take care & God Bless you and your entire family 🙂🙂🙂💗💗💗

G-N-R opened for them but they were not well known so we were able to get front row. Motley Crue was never one of “my bands” for some reason (although I can certainly appreciate them ) so I don’t know a lot of their songs, but I definitely know this one. 😄

    Yeah Hombre “strip clubs” in the 70’s and 80’s and even in the early 90’s were a sight to behold and enjoyed. Today..... well it’s different!!!!!!🥳

    I was on the “Strip”, in ‘88. This video is tame, compared to what was actually going down. If you had any game at all, you could go out, without any coin in your pocket, and have a Hunter S. Thompson/Charlie Sheen, night....Truth.

    The girl you paused it on in the beginning of the the reaction is Debbie. She is from Kentucky and was visiting Fort Lauderdale and was dancing at Solid Gold the night before the video. We hit it off and I took her home with the understanding that I had to have her back at the club by 10:00AM for some “rock video” Girls Girls Girls by Motley Crue! Needless to say this is my favorite music video of all time! And this is the Gods honest truth!

    Throughout the song they mention several clubs from around the country that they've been to....."Tropicana's where I lost my heart" is the Hollywood Tropicana, where a lot of the bands doing the Sunset Strip thing in the '80s went.

    Hi Jamal, love the Channel so far man. Motley Crue is my FAVORITE band ever, especially from the 80s! This is "the continuation of the Wild Side" as you put it - both from the same album by the same title (as this tune). I highly recommend the UNCENSORED version here on YT so you can grasp the full effect! Food for thought... lol - PEACE!

    I discovered reaction videos by accident. You were the first person I came across and your the best. Some people are too analytical. Some you can tell have musical training. some show no emotion. But you keep it fun and entertaining. I like that you react to the whole song not just the video or chord structure.

    The Girls! Girls! Girls! tour was my first rock concert. I think it was the summer between 8th and 9th grade, and my parents took me and my best friend. Bless their hearts. They had NO CLUE what they’d gotten themselves into when they said we could go! They sat in their seats where all the “skunky smoke” was floating, and my friend and I ended up by the stage. I’m 47 years old, and my mama is still fussing about me losing my new belt in the crowd. Good times! 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
