You continue to get better and better. Your quiet demeanour and explanations are perfect. I love that we can hear him blowing out and even lick/chewing and also that you reinforce maintaining correctness with body, tool, clucking. All while filming too - amazing work, Sam.
I continue to be surprised at how well things are going with this horse. You have a special talent with Mustangs and the way this horse acted when you were trying to get him in the trailer made me think this could be a real challenge. I can't tell you how much I have enjoyed your video's these past few years. Thank you, Sam.
Wild horse was caught and forced to be penned, bridled and ridden, instead of being in the wild with the herd. Does she need the horse for transportation like back in the day? Nope, just getting off on it. Wild horses are not like stray cats and dogs that will actively seek humans out, wild horses would always rather be with their herd.
Does he have a choice? The wild horse is forced to be penned and ridden instead of running wild with the herd. The horse has no choice.... so I guess I know what you mean by "smart", he has no choice so might as well be good about it. Sad story especially when you get to see wild horses running with their herd, so beautiful and how god intended, especially since we do not required work horses or riding horses anymore.
@BroJogan-fy7pm You live in a city hey? Never ridden or worked with horses. Never seen a wild horse with a broken leg suffer a long painful end. Never known the joy of your horsey mate come GALLOPING TO YOU because of the LOVE AND ENJOYMENT you BOTH get from going out adventuring TOGETHER. YES horses are smart. And it pi$$es me off when people who have ZERO UNDERSTANDING think they are morally superior when they know NOTHING! You don't even know that horses are DEFINITELY still needed in many areas. You don't even know that if we don't breed them, work WITH them, LOOK AFTER THEM that all the awesome breeds and BEST HORSENESS will disappear. Yes...become extinct ...apart from wild horses with limited genetic material, capabilities and tough lives that includes suffering from no human intervention when things go terribly wrong. Take your anti-horse opinion and SHOVE IT.
@BroJogan-fy7pm You live in a city don't you? Never ridden. Never had your horse mate gallop to you to go out adventuring because you both love it. Never seen a wild mare die during foaling because she is alone with no human help. Never seen a wild horse with a broken leg and suffer a slow end coz no human help. Never realised we still need horses in multiple areas. Never realised if we didn't still breed them and use them that awesome lines of breeding are lost....EXTINCT. DONT DARE TAKE THE MORAL HIGH GROUND WHEN YOU ACTIVELY ENCOURAGE EXTINCTION OF ONE OF GODS FINEST CREATIONS.
You definitely do a good job I loved most of working with my mustang stud colt..have been a Farrier and trainer for awhile and definitely pick your battles 👍
He is gorgeous with a good mind, good self preservation. I've worked with domestic horses with less thought process than he has. It's going to be fun watching him learn.
Beautiful horse, amazing mover (that trot is to die for) and sooooo smart. It´s so cute when he keeps turning in, as if to say, you wanted me to come close and face you, and now when I do you´re sending me away, Whadya want lady??? I can see it on his face, it´s so expressive. 🤣🤣🤣
Hi Sam wot a fantastic trainer you are been watching you for some time now I think you’re a great inspiration to all us , love the shorts videos you have released makes me feel like I’m in the pen with you, feeling his emotions and breathing his speed just lovely, I don’t care about the competition I think you have already won in my book ,another mustang rescued by you thank god for giving you this talent ❤️👍🇬🇧
I’m astonished at how quickly you progress with your horses. We brought home a Mustang a couple days before you started releasing this series. She is extremely skittish and nowhere near ready for a halter!
I remember one time a trailer a Mustang and a rope Went horribly Ari....I finally had to cut the rope from the Stallion the trailer and And friend who finally met the last thrill at 160 mph upside down in a pond after his car rolled numerous times...But I said that to say never underestimate the power of a wild animal...
Re: Having him walk around with lead rope hanging and he can walk on it. When he walks on the lead rope that is on the ground and he feels the halter tighten around his head, he naturally stops. So is it counterintuitive that when you have the lead rope in your hands and start pulling on the lead rope and he feels tightness from the halter around his head has a tendency to stop because of what he learned when he stepped on the lead rope when it was on the ground?
@@silverfox8241 good question! It’s more about giving to the pressure and softening, rather than stopping. And a little desensitizing to the legs/feet. But mainly if they feel pressure on it, to soften to it and give
Dear Sam my family unanimously think that you do not have to apologise for the loss of words while tying the halter ! You are doing a great job ! Please explain , since we do not know anything about horses , why is it important to tie a halter as soon as possible ? So he does not acquire bad habits ? We predict ( as dog trainers) that he will be a especially devoted horse .
Because you want control of his head and mind, a horse is born with flight instinct, so you want respect and the next is buddying up with you not fleeing
The power of his nostrils picked up by the mic is thrilling...imagine the size of his lungs and heart. he's troubled by clockwise and counterclockwise circling, is there such a thing as right-handed and left-handed among other mammals?

i love watching you work with your mustangs.

Hello, nice, clean work, the horse also understands it and behaves perceptively, nice horse by the way.
Thanks for the video update you are doing a fine job .
He's such a good boy!
Beautiful horse.
Very nice. Mustangs can be "interesting" to work with, you have it down pat. Nice work. ( yes,I have trained a number of them, love em)
You definitely do a good job I loved most of working with my mustang stud colt..have been a Farrier and trainer for awhile and definitely pick your battles 👍
Super Cool
There is just something regal and majestic about this animal wow!
It's because he's not talking. Animals seem royal and majestic because they don't speak.
Very cool!
What a good boy! Sweet.
Very good job 👏
What a beautiful smart Horse…..❤
Gosh Sam he’s such a nice horse he sure is Coordinated make a nice reining horse.

He is gorgeous with a good mind, good self preservation. I've worked with domestic horses with less thought process than he has. It's going to be fun watching him learn.
He is a beautiful horse.
So gentle. Patienc is a virtue they say.
Very nice horse!
I love him❤
Love watching you break horses. Always wanted to break a mustang. Broke my share but never a mustang. I'm to old now to try
I love how she's dealing with this horse
Beautiful horse, amazing mover (that trot is to die for) and sooooo smart. It´s so cute when he keeps turning in, as if to say, you wanted me to come close and face you, and now when I do you´re sending me away, Whadya want lady??? I can see it on his face, it´s so expressive. 🤣🤣🤣
Excellent.
I owned some high dollar Quarter horses, and one wild Mustang. The Mustang, “Tonto”, was my favorite. :)
Well done
He ready to ride now.😊

Well yeah girl, he's a horse, he's strong is right!
Molto brava complimenti.
He’s a beautiful horse and I love how he picks up his legs when he moves. Maybe he will make a good jumper?

I used to work with draft horse's. It was always a granola bar that would get them to go to work.
This is how my wife tamed me - now i am a gelding lol -
This is me at home: "yes dear, yes dear, yes dear"

You are brave! I pride myself on handling the hardest cases, but I'm talking Chihuahuas not horses!
I like his color

what a guy
❤🎉😮 He's so pretty, that trot ??!!! You can't sell this one lol, awww so cute. Thanks for sharing!! 🙂❤️🐎🇺🇲
Beautiful Dragon 😂
The power of his nostrils picked up by the mic is thrilling...imagine the size of his lungs and heart. he's troubled by clockwise and counterclockwise circling, is there such a thing as
right-handed and left-handed among other mammals?
He just wants to hang out with you, such a clever boy.
She's artist¡¡¡Also she has know-how¡¡
Not a horse person here. What is the loud exhalation? I'm guessing he's freaking out and trying to deal with it?
💗💗💗💗💗💗
Now you know why many breaking corrals have a post in the middle
❤
I think you get a halt on him and lead him around without the stick, but everybody’s got their own way.
what is the age of this horse pl?
You should hold a 1/2 apple or sugar cube in your hand.
lucky horse!!
Je třeba mít cit pro koně nenásilně 🤔😊😊❤❤😊🍻
Oi ya, you so special❤
Would suggest to leave halter on him with about an 8 to ten foot lead so he can get used to pressure when he steps on the lead......
Can’t you just give him apples 🍎 until he’s your broski
You don’t need a stick if you can pet the horse you can eventually put a halter on him.
May you teach me how to do this job please?
He's definitely a big talker. He enjoys blowing. That's funny. You could always call him speak easy. LOL
or maybe BLOWY or SNORT - lol
Sorry posted comment before I watched, a heaverer lead though so it drag lower to his feet
He has a real PRANCE to his movement..!! Not the sort of gait you would expect from a mustang.
Would having a carrot as a treat help the trust process ?
For what you need a Smartphone?
Nice 👏👏👏 don't keep saying good boy or good job 😁 he doesn't understand ‼️
He will understand.
Hi Sam does he have a name yet?
Name him Ollie that’s cute. It sounds similar to the Korean word for kid I believe, which is what you keep calling him how cute would that be
Vôtre équins il faut s'avoir le regarder
Looking for Mustang or Some Tang huh?😊
