When the Beatles were restoring the Yellow Submarine movie and readying it for Blu-ray release, one of the insiders found a reel of film. He about crapped his pants. He had found the original song behind the Lady Madonna video. A never before heard song and it rocked! Could be the best Beatle song ever. It made it all the way to a press release. Turned out, it was this song from the Yellow Submarine soundtrack. What the guy didn't know was there was even an animated scene of the song that had been cut out of the film. The scene was put back in the restored Blu-ray version.
I'm a Beatles fan of over 50 years and I love this guy's enthusiastic delight. Just imagine getting to listen to all the Beatles work for the first time again. Cheers!
How old are you? No disrespect here, but how can you not have known them? Singing their songs since 1965. As a 4 year old! 61 now, and it's still like yesterday since I first heard them.
The first Beatles song I remember hearing was - So you want to know a secret - when I was four. Didn’t know who they were. My parents were big rock’n’roll fans. Get Back was what made me want to do music the rest of my life. So, of course, I predictably decided to explore composing like Stravinsky, Stockhausen, Cage, and Miles Davis. I never played rock. But it was because of the Beatles. This song is clearly post psychedelic, the band playing great, but John is going towards a more Plastic Ono Band theme.

every time I hear this song I can't help but shake my head. another masterpiece by The Beatles that continue to amaze new generations after more than 50 years.
If so- don’t discount the lyrics. Try to make sense of them as hard as it is. That’s half the fun. Lennon said that a lot of his songs that are deemed nonsense lyrics are meant to be enforced psychoanalysis. Think about what you think it means. And you’re right. Too many think the lyrics have 0 meaning. Nah man. John Lennon was a genius. He went for infinite meaning.
My brother (r.i.p.)got to see the Beatles at Red Rocks. I wanted to go too , but my mom wouldn't let me. I was nine years old. She said that was too young. I was so mad , i didn't talk to her for a month. The tickets were six bucks back then.
One of the most underrated Beatles songs in their catalog. There is a video of them performing this in the studio. There are the Beatles, then there is everyone else
The Abbey Road Medley. You can split it into two parts if time is an issue. "You Never Give Me Your Money/Sun King/Mean Mustard/She Came in Through The Bathroom Window". Followed by: "Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight/The End" with the play out to "Her Majesty". EARGASM
Wow, the memories. The very first album in my collection as a kid, given to me by a friend of the family who was a female folk singer/guitarist, back in 1971 when I was 12. Played it over and over on a homemade "Hi-Fi" built by my uncle using a tube amp, a 12" full range speaker and Garrard changer that he built into his old childhood chest of drawers when he went off to college. Damn thing was pretty loud...
Good recommendation. If you take "A Day In The Life" as a template (2 song fragments kind of stitched together), then I am of the opinion that "Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight/The End" is a better aural experience than "A Day In The Life". Also, Abbey Road is a better album than Sgt Pepper's (but that's another story).
I was brought up on the Beatles. They have always been my favorite group. There has been no other group like them. They broke every rule, innovated music at every step. No one else will ever have as much impact on popular music as they did. Not only that but by the reactions of those on the internet that are hearing them for the first time they still have it.
I have been listening to the Beatles since I was nine, over forty years ago. Every time I do, whatever album it is, is my favorite album of all time at that moment. I can never get tired of listening, I just switch to another album and keep going.
Listen to the technique John created where the melody of the piano is out of timing with the melody of the vocal and you can’t ignore Paul’s bass line either! They were having fun, you can hear it!
You can talk to meeee, you can talk to me....you can talk to meeee! Great reaction as usual. Great to get to see you enjoying great tunes. Ed Sullivan, This Boy. 1964 been a fan since. Grandparents let a 4 year old stay up late one Sunday night. The rest is history. ❤👊
I love the face you made when the 'dog' barked! You're right, the Beatles had so many levels and so many sounds. Literally something for everybody. I'm you did this one--it's not one of their most famous but it's fun.
Another blast watching you react to the Beatles, brings new life to their amazing body work. This is a great tune, pretty obscure by Beatles' standard -- good on you for digging it.
Just watched this again. Your reactions bring such an infectious enthusiasm and happiness to what you are listening to! Can't beat the Beatles. Can't beat watching you listening and reacting to the Beatles....Thank You!
Hey HAZE! Tomorrow never Knows would be a great song for you to take a listen and a reaction to! Great reaction to this Beatles classic! Thank you! I'm subscribed..... If you're not, you're missing out! Love to you and everyone reading this! Stay positive and always remember to smile, even when you might not feel like it.... It will help make someone else's day brighter!!!😀😀💗👍💞🌞☀️🌝☀️
How is my favorite music Reaction guy!!! Hey Bulldog one of my favorites, so glad you love those Beatles - They are a huge part of my life since 1964 !!!
This song is one of the rare Beatles songs that you can dance to; they were the first rock group to create 'listening music' like I am the Walrus or Strawberry Fields; they didn't care if people danced or not as long as they listened. Another Beatles song you can dance to--sort of--is Everybody's Got Something to Hide Except for Me and My Monkey from the White Album. Check out their movies, too.
Thank you for doin' this one. Easily one of my favorite Beatles songs ever!! The way John throws out that line at the end of the chorus "If you're lonely you can talk to me." Awesome.
This song is definitely not a throwaway! One of my favourites ! Love the beginning, gradually they all come in together … Video for this song is absolutely fab too ! Long live The Beatles ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Another Beatles song, another winner - go figure. This is one of my favorite songs by them. They were contractually obligated to a third movie but were disinterested in making one. The idea for an animated film using mostly previously released songs was finally agreed apon. They supplied 4 new songs for the film, this being one of them. It was on the original soundtrack LP but left out of the film and so became a "lost" song. The two songs by George - Only A Northern Song and All Too Much are rockers while Paul supplied the ditty All Together Now. Once the film was finished The Beatles loved it.
The beatles were my introduction to music... how lucky was i. I ended up WITH SERIOUS PIPES and can play 5 instruments. Ive branched out to so many bands and just all of them take a page from these guys. Wether they are aware of it or not. Theyre the simpsons of music.
That gritty Lennon voice is the best ever in rock! Can you do "Everyone's Got Something to Hide Except Me and My Monkey" and "Birthday" and "Good Morning, Good Morning"?
That’s the one thing I find sad that they couldn’t keep it together for just a few more years (overall I think it’s good for their legend that they did split up and didn’t end up like the Rolling Stones) - the grit, power and soul of lennon’s voice and the purity, range and tone(s) of McCartney’s voice was such an incredible combination. Imagine some of the solo songs they did in the few years after they split up as Beatles combos, which a lot of them were probably intended to be when they were written.
I like this guy! He gets the joy and the spirit of the Beatles. I used to put on this song at parties and get weird looks. Now everybody loves this song. Oh well.
I love that song, epic af! I won't give you suggestions on what Beatles to do next just dive randomly into their catalogue and you won't be disappointed, I guarantee it Haze.
This was the first song Yoko Ono (John Lennon's future wife) watched The Beatles record. Lennon was kind of embarrassed that the first song she was there for was so poppy. It has a legendary bass line by Paul. I also am requesting you react to "I am the Walrus."
Have you heard their song titled Revolution? At this time the world is in now this song is an anthem for peace and goodwill. And it will take you higher. Brace yourself for the ride.

PS, now I’m going to fall in love watching you review “Hey Bulldog” by the Beatles! What a great, little known jewel by them!
Have you ever heard a band so varied in their sound, let alone in 8 years? It’s mind blowing

@@DaveMcIroy their songs sound the same ngl

Same here, Dianne. If my life was a movie...The Beatles would be the soundtrack!
Well Said 😎
Me, too! Great bands have come and gone...but you really don’t need anything but the Beatles!
Glad to know it's not just me. Right?
same! love the enthusiasm new listeners have for the greatest band on earth!
Beatles are always a trip. It's almost unnerving how their music always hits.
Greatest rock/pop band ever. Period.
This is my favorite "obscure" Beatles song. Lennon called it a throwaway.
The Inner Light is another obscure classic!
Mine is "Blackbird."

Hey Bulldog is one of my favourites, I learned it off by heart on drums.
Their entire recording career was just about 7 years. And they broke up before any of them were 30 (maybe Ringo). They didn't mess around.
Ringo was 29.
In 1970 Ringo birth 30 years in july. So, Yaz, he had under 29 years old
You should watch the official video of this being recorded - brilliant!
