@@viarnay The 500c two stroke bikes were around 200 kilo and almost 200hp. Crazy, that they are now lighter and more powerful with 4stroke engines. But I still find the 2strokes cooler. The sound, the smell. Just awesome. Also with formula one. The modern cars might be faster. But the n/a v10 is just the best sounding f1 engine of all time.

Alla gara in qualifica 1.52.6 con gomme da gara purtroppo abbiamo fatto solo 2 giri in qualifica. In gara 53. 2 ma era grassa e avevamo perso 10 kmh se no si poteva fare 52

I can notice riding style is way different compared to MotoGP. In MotoGP the rider moves his body towards the side of the following corner while he is riding through a short straight after exiting the corner he just took, I don't know the reason of this. (0:27 - 0:30 || 0:36 - 0:42 || 0:47 - 0:53 || 1:14 - 1:19 || 1:25 - 1:30 || 1:44 - 1:50). But this rider, in the same previous conditions, fixes his body to the neutral position and when he's about to break, moves his body so he can lean the bike (0:47 - 0:53), and his legs are nowhere as extended as they would be while riding a MotoGP, he only extends them when he's about to lean the bike (0:36 - 0:42), unlike MotoGP riders, who extend their legs towards the direction of the corner once they start braking. Is this related to the rider's preference or directly related to the type of bike?
Rider preference. The knee out or leg dangle under braking is simply down to which style the rider is comfortable with. For example, Rossi adopted the leg dangle due to his experience with other forms of riding. If you want you can go on his channel and watch his ranch videos. He rides 450s with 18inch flat track wheels. Leg dangle provides negligable aerodynamic drag compared to knee out. Additionally, most riders do not ride like MotoGP stars. This is simply due to GP bikes being in excess of 250hp and the braking being very brutal on the body due to the carbon ceramic brakes. sylvain guintoli does a very good breakdown of this on his channel. Simply put, you won't see a GP riding style anywhere but the GP paddock. Edit: To explain this riders' style a bit more. Under braking this rider is bracing the tank with his knees during braking. Otherwise, I'd imagine his crown jewels would get crushed. ;)

IN Q1 1.52.6 purtroppo ho avuto solo 2gg a causa di un guasto , le potenzialità sono alte soprattutto se utilizzassero un traction control e un anti wheeling.
Il miglior giro credo 1'52'6, record Rossi per le 500 ( imbattuto) 1'52"5...la suter con il sig. Lai vanno fortino direi! Complimenti ad entrambi! Che suono, che nostalgia...

@Spyderino intendevo questo, tutte le 2 tempi sotto un certo n di giri sono morte, poi esplodono, le 500 degli anni 90 avevano 3000 giri utili, da 10.000 a 13.000

What a glorious two stroke symphony the Suter produces, it must be touching near 200mph on that legendary Mugello straight.
Unfortunately that's 15mph short of modern bikes.
