This is the way I'd always recommend to anyone doing Snowdon for the first time. I hope you enjoy it😃. More info in the description. Thanks for watching ⛰👍🙏 If you would like to support my channel that would be amazing 😀: buymeacoffee.com/trekkingwithtony
Tony, I sincerely hope your channel grows and provides you with success. What a great mix of information and entertainment. You have a likeable presentation style and quality post-production. Keep plugging away and the You Tube algorithm will eventually reward you!
If you are sure-footed then by far the best route up Snowdon is Crib Goch. I did it in winter, over 40 years ago, on a sunny day, when it was covered in snow. That was really scenic.
It is great up there. I recorded it a few weeks back but I’ve never been up in the snow ruclips.net/video/AL6p60WxNzc/видео.htmlsi=WpPcy85f23nFtp1k Sounds like you had a great day for it Dave. Great work for getting it bagged mate🥾⛰️😁
Nice video! I will confess - we took the train up a few weeks ago. We were only in the area for a few days - and I didn’t want to miss the opportunity to see Snowden. Weather was very unpredictable - and I’m just grateful that we were able to visit the summit. The views going up were incredible - when the clouds weren’t moving in. 😊 Would love to hike it someday!
Hey Barbera, as long as you made it that’s the main thing. I’ve got another way up snowdon coming next week but it’s absolutely crazy😂. When you hike it this is my recommended route, it’s incredible. I hope you get to do it soon 😁⛰️🥾
@@trekkingwithtony Crib Goch! You won’t find me there!! 😂 But kudos to those who have conquered it! We were visiting from Florida - so not sure when we will get the chance again - but it is on my bucket list! Thank you for your hiking videos.
Great video Tony. How on Earth did you manage to get the trig to yourself on a B/H? We were up there mid week in the clag with no train right to the top and they were queuing back down the mountain to touch the trig! We’re there again later this year, so hopefully it’ll be quieter with some views.
Thanks Tony, a total fluke with the too being empty. The days before were better and it was forecast thunder later so I just got lucky 🍀. I hope it’s the same for you this year 👍
Hi Tony, Hi Alison, Brilliant guys, so glad you got the views from the top. And you did so well to get up there when it wasn’t too busy. I was up there a couple of years ago in July, not very enjoyable at all with the amount of people up there. All he best guys Dave 😀⛰🥾
Hi Dave, Thanks mate, the cloud was up and down so we got lucky 🍀. I know what you mean there. The last time I was there there was a queue for the summit. I think the train had just arrived 😆. Thanks for your support as always. All the best out there mate 😁
What is parking like around there? Me and some mates are planning to do the PYG track early June, will get there at around midday to start after a 6 hour drive. Read that the parking can fill up by 7am some days?
Hi Michael, Parking needs to be booked (I've a link in the description) and is about £20 but there are sidings about half a mile away for about £5 or a little further out for free. I parked further out because the car park was fully booked and the free one was about 200 yards from the paid one😆. I hope that helps, enjoy it out there mate🏔😃🥾
Hi mate, 4 hrs 42mins at average speed. There is a map in the description which you can download if you would like to track it on your phone. I hope you get a good day for it ⛰️😁🥾

@ thanks for the advice! So likely to find a space at one of these at any time? Cheers!
@@michaeljarwood8913 You will and failing that you can just park at the village and get the bus up, which is very regular 👍
