Excellent work as always Ray!!Very professional right the way through. Love how you prep to the nines. Ole Kevin seems to like the new lumber! Keep up the great work Sir!! 👍👍
The Ford enters the workshop like a dark cloud & leaves it like a bright sun shiny day, exactly as you would expect from Ray, only I can't find the video "meet mr. Waterford" 💯👍🏻💯👍🏻💯👍🏻💯👍🏻💯👍🏻
Hey Ray My father was a jack of all trades he used to make me tape I didn't mind it once in a while, but I hated body work. At the beginning of the video, I was thinking maybe you would paint the bottom black and you did. Truck came out nice.
Yeah...bodywork is no fun. However...for an active work truck, undercoating isn't a bad way to go...so the black is as sturdy as it is good looking. Thanks a lot for your positive input, my friend!
Looks good Ray. With only 50,000 miles on it, this pickup should have a lot of miles left in it, and with a nice new paint job it should look good for a long time.
@@teams.t.e.a.m6214 I live in Bend, in central Oregon, and I don't see crew cabs with a flat bed for sale very often here. A lot of the ranchers in our area have at least one of them, but they usually don't sell them. They run them until they are wore out and then they end up sitting in a field or barn forever. Cats are curious. They gotta check out the new paint job...
I'm curious if working in that shop causes a dirt issue on some of the beautiful paint jobs that you do and is there and pointers for keeping the dust down in a shop of that size? Also, on this project, if the paint was still in good shape but the clear was yellowing could it be buffed out. I am not a body guy at all but always love learning new things.
Once cheap clear begins to yellow...there is really no reversing it. Plus, this clear was already coming off...so a buffer is not gonna be the solution. unfortunately...the only answer is stripping everything off or simply do what I did. Look up the video called.... 05 kenworth...Time for some dirty words. It may not be 05...It might be 06 or something like that...but either way...Its all about dust and dirt control. Thanks a bunch, buddy!
