I remember I got full on attacked for having a lion animatronic character that "looked like a primagen"...all they share in common is a visor and plus he was made before primagens. I had many robotic characters before primagens and people keep making me throw them away and its really sad. I am going to try and get a primagen submission so I can officially have at least 1. I’m not a furry but this is pretty interesting I think that this is my most liked comment, I know 24 might not seem like a lot but I’m glad my comments are getting noticed.
I just really want a sci-fi movie with protogen's in it. Not exactly with them being the main focus but just there in the world. Like you could have one be the main characters partner or something. It'll probably never happen but I think it'd be cool and interesting to see them in a movie, especially live action.
I mean if this fandom has proven anything, it is definitely capable of a lot of different things. Might not be something high budget but maybe someone will make a short film about or featuring Protogen.
I wanted to make a little writing fun project about some. One character I created would probably be part of a side thing about space and sci-fi stuff of this kid who accidentally goes into space with a spaceship and finds all sorts of creatures. I love protogens and I am also working on an original species that grows its own technology molt by molt, hunted down by another alien species that magnetizes different materials. I get invested in lore and creative exploration pretty easily and I would really like to do something with protogens to be honest
the fact that malice risu (who i, and most of us now refer to as Cool Koinu) considered making a similar but open species was so nice of them, thinking outside of the box to allow everyone to join in on the ZOR community.
If the demand was so incredibly high, I think it was a good compromise while allowing her to keep the Primagen a more personal and exclusive thing. Not everyone is a fan of the closed species idea, but I feel like when something is well defined enough it's totally acceptable for the creator to want to retain the rights to it.
This just makes me wanna make a actuall protogen head thingy too bad i will most likely electrocute myself and i have no idea how to make that kind of stuff.
Here's A free species for anyone to use!! *{Moriax}* *{Appearance}* Moriaxes are a 90% robotic species, with the other 5% being an insect and last 5% as ANY species. Their head is an organic head resembling your chosen species, even A mix. (I used an axolotl-rhino thing) Their face is either 1 of 2 models. Model 1 has just a square somehow stuck on to the face, with a black hole where and organic face would be. Model 2, what my oc has, is a visor hat struck down to about the chin before fading. Same with model 1, where an organic face is a black hole. Now the torso. The torso is all robotic except for the back where it's a stripe of organic body, with insect wings that are translucent and can be any color, then to the tail of your species. The legs. Thicc. (Lol JK but my oc uses dem THICC legs) The legs are fully robotic. *{Lore}* These mostly robotic creatures are made by adding the robotics first. The insides are either module 1 or module 2. Module 1 is an oil-ran Moriax with tubes and pipes ran all over, with each part using oil as fuel, maintaining a system re-using the oil inside. Module 2 is an electric powered Moriax needing to be charged at least once a week. After the robotics, the creator adds the organics. (CRUELTY WARNING) To get the organics, they use the skins and organics of animals heading to factories. They stick it one and then pump in blood, only needed to run the brain that flows its knowledge to the technology in the body. The Moriaxes are factory workers to the Mandoxrians. (just humans on another planet) The Mandoxrians put Moriaxes through hard labor. If not needed, they are either transported to other factories, or ripped apart 1 by 1, even if the Moriax is turned on, that's how little the Mandoxrians cared about the Moriaxes. However, an error in the programing of one too many Moriaxes began to start the *Raxiinom Virus.* The virus made the Moriaxes aggressive towards the Mandoxrians, rather than to threats to Mandoxrians. As the Raxiinom Virus spread, so did the knowledge of Moriaxes. After a long battle, the Moriaxes with their inserted knowledge and weapons won. But even after Mandoxrians surrendered, the Moriaxes went as far as making Mandoxrians go *extinct.* *{NOTE!}* Please do credit me. You can use this channel or MAC THE CHEESE!!🧀, my PC channel. Also, you can just shove the credits down in the bottom of your bio or description, as long as I have mention. Have fun!
Alrighty, please forgive me if I sound arrogant here, as I don't know much about this fandom in general. Could you actually get sued for creating your own Primagen head for personal use?
In theory? Possibly Would they actually do that given the huge financial cost and the tremendous bad PR it would cause? Probably not Even if they did, it'd probably be very difficult. That being said, I'm not a lawyer :)
I don't think it's possible. From what I gathered, closed species are considered to be something that shouldn't be used, or only under some kind of agreement (such as buying a character, sort of). They might get angry or "blacklist" those who break the rule, but they cannot technically enforce anything as long as they don't have copyright. Personally I don't do it for a matter of respect. By "closing" the species the person is politely asking me not to create that kind of character so I decide to do something else. At this point, if the species I like so much is closed, I simply create another original species myself or straight up create a character with a different name and clear differences that make it so that it's not a counterfeit version
Never understood closed species, yea you can buy this character designa dn all that as completely your own oh but you have these rules since it's from my drawn universe and also you can't actually take it take it as your own it must stay in my universe or else it's no cannon, what cannon? Are you making a TV show I'm gonna randomly see this character as a background character for? Am I gonna get money for that since your using the character I bought in your media, I'm it's a way to make money from art but what a weirdly dumb way to go about it

Cyborgs aren't *that* popular in the furry community but they do exist here and there. Most people don't seem bothered, but everyone has their own limits and phobias.
