@@askdoctorheather thanks ! I am looking for balance and agility exercises to help with my skiing. I have a good strength program and a good cardio routine but I feel like I have static strength rather than dynamic strength. I hope to develop better athleticism. Thanks for your videos !
Check out this video as @sofaski loves the exercises I show here ruclips.net/video/BkRzln5V3MY/видео.html Also check out all the videos under the ski playlist as there are more BOSU, TRX and Rip trainer videos designed to help improve your overall athleticism :-)
Make sure to take a look at the skiing playlist ruclips.net/p/PLurtKimPYqT228rn6srVWi-faDZ0Wlx2P . Even though I say skiing, a majority of the exercises can be tweaked a bit to help with snowboarding. If you have any specific questions regarding any of the exercises please ask. Happy to help :-)
Any exercise in the video that requires you to hold a position is to be held for 30secs (you could do a 1min but no longer). All other exercises in the video can be done up to 20 reps and repeated twice.
@@sandraredmond4812 I believe you mentioned already doing some strength programs so I would do this one maybe once or twice a week to compliment everything. Doing balance work barefoot is always best but you might feel more comfortable in sneakers
@@askdoctorheather i did my first full run through today in bare feet. I really liked the challenge. My ankles can definitely get stronger. This is exactly what i was looking for to complement my regular strength workout. Thank you
@@ardenpowers7730 I will definitely do some research on the topic and put something together over the course of the next few weeks. Awesome suggestion!
Just the routine I was looking for . Thanks.
You are more than welcome. Also check out the TRX/BOSU one for skiing as well as the Ultimate Hamstring exercises.
@@askdoctorheather Will do, after 4 hamstring tears (3 on one leg) I currently have hamthreads. Tough being a 65 year old adult house league racer!
