Aloy reminds me so much of Merida from Diseny's Brave, with the big red hair, the way she she climbs the cliffs, the archery skills, she even has Merida's eagerness. And yet their worlds are so different. I'm so intrigued!
WOW. I wasn't that sure about this game when it was first announced but this trailer has certainly piqued my interest. I'm really curious now about this dystopian world that Guerilla Games has imagined. It made me think of Enslaved a bit, which I really enjoyed. The graphics are right up there with Naughty Dog quality. I am really excited now, I hope it lives up to the hype which I'm sure will just keep building after this.
How does that blind faith in pure logic feel after you've waited till next year and still gotten a buggy game? Lol. It happens. You have to take things on a case-by-case basis, not just assume "delay always guarantees a better game and there's never any potential negative side to it!" I wish that were the case, I really do. But it's not. You can wait and still get fucked over, still have them cut corners, still have them be lazy. They doesn't mean I think they should rush things at the expense of the product. I'm just saying they shouldn't be praised or rewarded by default just by announcing a delay. Wait and see if that delay pays off before you start patting them on the back. That's all I'm saying. Common sense? Sense isn't common, I've found. The thing that's common is nonsense.
I'm not sold on the plot yet, but the machines look awesome and the soundtrack seems really good. If this gets decent reviews I am definitely buying this.
