You should try and buy the Death Star 2 UCS set if you can. Then you can build a small Rebel Fleet to, and have a battle scene mock before the Battle unfolded.
I wanted this se so badly when it came out, but my parents wouldn’t buy it for me. Given how ridiculously big it is, that was probably a wise choice. Still, I’d love to own it still.

Easily one of their biggest sets. But, when I get my own place, and have space for it, I’ll definitely look for a replica Executor set.

The amount of greebling in this set is absolutely superb. Add's a fantastic level of detail to such a complex and intriquite set like this. Simply amazing.
i love how lego puts all the colored bricks in these builds. to keep it prettier and funnier during building. i mean there are even colored transparent knobs here and there. this is not just for convenience. Especially since the bags are all numbered. its just for fun and thats what makes it fun.
I love this set, I was so impressed on how well designed it is for the scale it's in. Something looks off in your build though, the wings at the back are sitting too high.
I just wanna say thank you for showing every numbered bag one by one. I bought it online sealed (only the bags, not the whole box) and wanted to check if I had the correct amount of bags before actually starting to build.

Yeah way too expensive to get lego version from a guy on ebay get the lepin version. It's 155 bucks only and it looks damn good. Not as good of quality but it's very close.

I have this set. I spent a few weeks building a death star inspired stand and reinforcing some parts so it could be displayed on its nose like it's crashing into the death star
The length of a SSD can be reasonably estimated to be 13,469m (although there is some debate). The average height of a person is around 1.8m. So the ratio of person:SSD = 1:7,482.7. Lego minifigs are 4cm in height so to get the size of a scaled Lego SSD, multiply 7482.7 by 4 to get 29,931.1cm. So, a scaled Lego SSD would be just under 300m. For reference, the Nurek Dam in Tajikistan is 300m and is the tallest dam in the world. The Chrysler Building in NY is 319m and was the tallest building in the world in 1931. The Eiffel Tower is 324m.
To be honest, I wish( and I think we all do) that Lego wasn't so expensive. I mean, before 2015, normally large sets were ranging from 30-60 for the normally large. Now, with thirty dollars, you could buy a small set The death star price is okay, but other prices, just, ... A bit too much, because a reasonable price for the normal star destroyer would be about 250, and others sets like around that price range.
this is from two years ago, you need some luck if you want to find this set in stores, and online it might cost more depending on shipping fees and such.

I love this set, I was so impressed on how well designed it is for the scale it's in. Something looks off in your build though, the wings at the back are sitting too high.
