WOW - I wished I watched this about 4 years ago when you actually uploaded this! It always just looked like a bland great big grey thing with minifigures inside some detailed rooms in this set - however I never imagined that it would have this much Technic and functions built-in to it.

Wow - this set is so incredible! It is like 20 sets in one!!!!!!!
I thought they would have changed manual, dropped the rings as i found the paper on the original was so thin it tears easily against the rights. I ended up asking for a replacement manual. It was later i found lego instructions are now online as well, so i kept the manual unopened in the box it arrived in. Good part on lego for sending me out a manual for no charge even when i said i was willing to pay for one.

I was gonna get a Nintendo on Christmas but the first video i watched on this channel taught me something. Legos are awesome.
Gonna be honest. I have a Nintendo switch and it is definitely not worth it. The “good” games are expensive at 60 dollars, and then you put in the 300 dollar cost for the switch, it’s not worth it.

I’m considering making modifications to this and add openable panels onto it so it’s not so open. Obviously that would take away from some of it’s play features, such as the rotating beam, but I think it would make the set look even better aesthetically.

@@lifan9892 is it actually exactly the same? If not how different is it? Is lepin a knock off brand? Are the pieces in this set less reliable? Why is it so much cheaper? Please tell me I need to know!
alan smithee its the same as lego, but doesnt feel like the real lego, some parts maybe doesnt stick well and printing on some minifigs may be different but not in all, and stuff like that, i just builded my lepin first order star destoyer and only problems were that there were 2 parts missing, the other stormtroopers helmet printing was off and one other minifig’s helmet was different BUT they have sent me new parts and that should fix the problem, i just buy lepin because its almost the same and its cheaper, i would never pay 500 for a death star but 130 maybe :)
@@lifan9892 I suppose the only thing stopping someone from getting these would be their morals. And you could probably buy pieces that don't work or are missing from Lego's online store if the two brands are compatible, which I believe most knock offs are. Thanks

set was so big that it takes 38 minutes to do a speed build, that's kinda crazy tbh
I got a LEGO Death Star when I was 10. Eventually stress overcame me and I took a break from it... Flash forward 2 years later and I start it again (I'm 12 now). It was still stressful but now I've lost some of the pieces and stickers, and I couldn't build another LEGO set until months after. After waking up at 6:00 a.m. every day and building till 9:00 p.m. it was just too much. I needed sleep, and food, and some time off to get my brain relaxed. But when I see this video I want to build it again. To get a second chance at building a LEGO Death Star! 😀😝😂😎
Oh and I'm not 12 years old as of now. I'm actually 13
