I don't think so. The start and the whole race needs tactics, too. Trimming is less visible, indeed. But everything is faster. I followed this old races. But I prefer the new format because the races are shorter.
Tactics: go to the boundary and tack/gybe Strategy: go to the boundary and tack/gybe Maneuvering: stay in your seat and press the buttons. One set of sails that don't change.
Trimming: waves do not affect foiling so keep the same twist/camber/draft position as shown in the screen. Don't look at the sail because you lose your focus on the screen

Zeigt was? Die Schweiz hat den AC schon 2x gewonnen. Ich habe persönlich an sämtlichen Booten mitgearbeitet. Eines habe ich aber in diesen Jahren auf der Segelweltbühne gelernt: Es gibt da Draussen kein einziges Volk wie die Schweizer. Nur Schweizer wünschen den eigenen Leuten Misserfolg. Dabei ist die Schweiz zusammen mit Norwegen die mit Abstand erfolgreichste Sportnation. Hat wohl mit Kleingeist zu tun.
