THANKYOU for uploading this priceless treasure from the Greatest Sporting Victory in Australia’s history.
I realise it is only the 1 hour preview before Race 7 begun and I like so many hope that maybe someday we can watch Race 7 again that would be the ultimate dream for the Race itself to be uploaded .
However this brings back great memories as we in Australia were able to watch this coverage in the early hours of Monday morning on the 27 September 1983 and witnessed that unforgettable race that ended the longest winning streak in History as our beloved yacht Australia II 12 KA6 and all our HEROES that sailed her to history WON the 1983 Americas Cup
Hopefully one day we we will be able to witness Race 7 once more again and watch the Race of the Century that changed Australia forever
