He just means that some Chopin pieces require tons of technique in your left-hand, compared to plenty of the pieces you can find in other music where the left-hand is usually playing a relatively easy bass.
+godly sowah depending on your skills, is much much better from a sheet music. from a synthesia video, you may have wrong notes and the legato, staccato, forte, piano is not that clear.
I learned it with sheet. Also here you dont see forte piano etc which was already mentionned. Also the speed seems a little bit slow after the beginning for some reason
I love this song! Someday I hope to be able to play this, but there's no way I would attempt to learn this now, and certainly not without my teacher. And yes, Chopin's works can be difficult, but they are so much fun!
Luckily I was able to learn and play this piece one year ago at a recital at the age of 16, I listened to Chopin when I was a kid and the impromptu and revolutionary were what I wished to play since I was 6 lol.
IT'S FINALLY HERE!!!! …..the recording that so many pianists have been talking about, but has probably never been realized: Chopin's Revolutionary Etude in octaves! (at least mostly in octaves……) -only on extremepianochannel…… a little slower than this, but YES, in OCTAVES!!!! (with a few thirds and sixths thrown in) ;)
For non-musicians saying this is TOO hard to play - I play the piano for around 2 years now but I have easier things than this yeah but if you WILL go further and further then you might play this piece. If you workout with your fingers (or hand lol) then it might not hurt.
Something similar to this is Rachmaninoff's Musical Moment Op. 16 No. 4, just in case you're looking for another good killer workout for your left hand:D
After 2 days (3?? Hours??) Of practice I've progressed to 0:08. What i did with this piece was start with every new left hand pattern on atmost 80bpm. Once i got it perfect 8 times in a row id speed up by 10 bpm. By perfect i dont just mean notes. I made sure none were accented and i was comfortable. I got it up to 140bpm and thats basically it.
Sofea Irdina it’s not a black midi when a certain part of the score is completely black. I think that your thinking a black midi is impossible to play.
Some comments here are just ridiculous. There's no way a beginner pianist can play this in less than a month. If you can do that you must already be able to play pieces harder than this one.
Its not ridiculous. I was the same when i started out. When you begin piano your ears arnt accustomed to picking out mistakes and most beginners just slap down the pedal and think they've mastered it. Basically theyre lieing but not on purpose
