I like their servos. I put a HS-65MG in my Scx24 Betty and it kicks butt. Lots of power, speed and has out lasted all the other upgrade servos I have tried in my fleet of 24's. The down side is the price it's was around 40 bucks. I got it early last year when the stock one broke. It was the only servo available at my local HS and online at the time. It is still trucking!!!!🤘🤘🤘
FYI.. Hitec's Titanium gears are machined from 100% titanium block, not coated like others. It's rare to have them develop slop even after years of use.
@@terryfrome1641 I can be wrong, but I think the Hitec servos that only say metal gear train (does not specify that it's steel or titanium) can have aluminum gears in them (the splined output gear look like they are aluminum). These servos are about $50. The ones around $100 and up have either steel or titanium gears (stronger and more durable).
Love your channel and reviews but can you please include metric standards also when doing comparisons so the rest of the world outside US can follow the information better? 😊👍🏻 I appreciate you took pictures of the boxes so I can read the kg/cm from there tho
The low current draw of the HSB9381 is incredible, that will definitely help with battery life. I've used 7950s in my rigs forever now, but I'm eyeballing that bad boy for sure.
I only run Hitec servos in my 1/5 scale gas RC's, the D845WP is a work horse and has never failed me. There HS-1005SGT servos are a beast, run 2 of them to steer my Primal MT(on 4s), sure they are big $$$ but worth it and rather trust Hitec with their rating over some of those no name brands claiming more on 2s lipo and/or costing a 1/4 of the Hitec's.
Thanks for the great review/testing of HiTec servos! A few have expressed interest in you testing other servos, that would be great to see a comparison of some differnet brands. Pro Modeler is one that interests me, they have a full range of servos. One comment on the set up put your power supply on the right of the servo that way the volts and amps can be seen all the time.
Loving these tests! would it be possible to test smaller size servos, like say for an scx24? I actually run a small HiTek HS-65mg+ in my scx24 Jeep and i love it. I feel it's much better than the emax but i have been starting to see a lot of competition in the small servo market as well. I'm just a very curious fan. Keep up the great work!
Great video! I have a question, if you could only buy one kit between : Cross Rc emo AT4 or : Gmade GS02 buffalo pick up what one would you buy? Thanks.
just curious but wonder if you did those same test but one with an esc receiver and battery then test it with your power supply ....would the results vary ?
I've had Hitec servos for eons now. My first RC car upgrade almost a decade ago was a Hitec servo in a TT02. It's still running strong.
Thank you for these servo videos!! Also I'm glad you showed the box, where it said specs in kg/cm 😊👍
Hitec is the servo of my choice. I really like the HS-7950TH and put it in almost all my crawlers.
@@waynedellio2853 I didn't for my ElementRC Sendero. The 7950TH is a standard size servo. I'm not familiar with the D954SG

One thing to note about titanium gears, they are titanium plated aluminum. Good to see they are pulling consistent and very efficient!

The gears are absolutely 100% titanium, not coated. One of there offices is down the road from me and I have spoken to them about the gears.

Also on the HiTec is that they are easily programmable with the HiTec servo programmer. Very neat stuff, if you ever look into it.

Yeah, pretty revealing.

I really enjoy your servo test videos. Lots of great information. Thanks!
Nice to see some honest figures for a change!! Great work as always 😃💪🏼
Love hitec servos
Nice testing. I would like to see you test a Promodeler DS505BLHV. Thanks.
I’m also using a 1/5 scale Hitec in my SCX6 and it runs cool.
I use 954s on my 4 wheel steer. They work great and I’m using a BEC.
Thanks for making this test! 👍
Cool. I was wondering could you do a comparison of some AGFRC servo's. I think you mentioned ages ago they are a OEM and make servo's for other rbands
I would like to see you test some more high end servos. Nitro pro, MKS Expert all the equivalent of the 9381
Love these servo tests 👌
You are welcome!

Nice, would be great if they changed over to hardened steel. You kinda clipped off at the end.

Would love to see some Bluebird servos tested.
Have not heard of those. In the U.S.?
Hitec HSB9381 are the ears of the case plastic? What part of the case is plastic? Where are the Hitec servos made (COO)?
very good test thanks
I would like to see you review the nhx max 6 servo 6s direct power capable
I remember when Hitec was a budget sportswear company
Could you please test sometime SPT servo's. The are cheap and looks like the work great. :)
All my servos are vanquish
1st comment!!!!!
Hitec servos are absolute garbage
Ehhh. No.
