  • Vintage Guitar Oldenburg and Tobias Hoffmann present a Ibanez Model 2355-CS from c.1975, copy of Gibsons ES-175. More infos at: www.vintage-gui...
The guitar shown was played through a Fender Deluxe Reverb from 1974 and recorded with a Shure SM57 (left) and a Sennheiser 409 (right) . The backing tracks were recorded into a Fame Twin Looper on the same instrument right before the recording of each video. A Electro Harmonix Freeze was used for additional loops and sounds. Overdrive Sounds come from a Vemuram Jan Ray, a Greer Amp Ghetto Stomp and occasionally the Origin Revival Drive.
Tobias Hoffmann is a award winning guitar player from cologne, germany. He combines the sounds of Jazz, Blues, Rock, Surf and some experimental stuff. Check him out:

Nice. I have a neck and other parts from one of these. The body was crushed and unrepairable unfortunately. I made a Frankenstein with an old Junvel body.

I bought 1 last month from victoria bc canada. Waiting for warmer weather to ship it to toronto. may. It's a 1977 mint. With an ibanez headstock. Paid 2150$ canadian after tax. Good deal? I think it is a fair price.
