Sometimes after a hard day at work I just want to watch a bit of mindless youtube entertainment, like a car channel, i.e. one where I don’t have to invest emotionally, I can just watch the drag race or whatever and leave my brain on idle. These are the days where I DON’T click on a Tobias video. His videos are just too rich in content. It’s almost like I feel he deserves me to be emotionally receptive before I hit PLAY. Today is not one of those days, and so I hit PLAY. Man, I will never be this good! I’m torn between being demoralised and being totally inspired at the depth of his creativity. He’s my Hendrix 🙏
Hi Paul.
Yes Tobias Hoffmann is an Inspiration.
Folow your Videos is also a bis present for me .
Thank you Tobias
And thank you Paul!
@@guth.am_boss Well thank you Wilhelm, what a lovely compliment 😊
A Les Paul, clean, and NOT loudened by Marshall stack.
An act of rebellion. Cool AND refreshing.
Tasty, imaginative and patient playing. Love it!
Very creative playing
Having just bought a Tele (my guitar has always been a Les Paul) and watching this piece again…I’ve finally realised why Compressor pedals exist! I never realised how having a volume and tone for each pick up made my LP as flexible as it was! So glad I kept it as well 🙌🏻
Genius.
Whichever the brand, model, pickup type, Tobias brings out the best in them. Those mini hb's sound spectacular. ... And I've paid good money for concerts that couldn't compare with this one!
I always feel way better after listening to Tobias Hoffmann playing the guitar. This is the power of music impersionated. Thank you very much!
They all do that for me . . . and I'm not the only one - what a star!
Just happened across this channel on my quest for an old Japanese Strat. The man is a genius. This is gorgeous.
Each time I come to hear an instrument and I am left spellbound by your play. Such a talent and mastery. These videos will be kind of heritage one day...
literally every one of these is a treasure we will never understand how lucky we are to witness
Hoy encontre este canal y es hermoso, apreciar tantos instrumentos maravillosos y con que maestria los interpretan.
Holy crap!! Best gear demo I’ve ever heard. Amazing understanding of the instrument’s available tones and masterful playing. 🙌🏽
So beautiful. Amazing performance and tone.....love Gibson Deluxe and Norlin guitars btw
Your playing heals my soul. Love your art.
❤

Really cool! For a long video, Tobias' playing and creativity actually kept my attention the whole time.
Man, he is just so goodI love these videos.
Nice, my favorite Gibsons ever made. Those old Deluxes sound amazing.
Love this guy... Such tasteful playing!
Wow love the playing very beautiful
Very peaceful. Thanks for sharing!
I have an '86 standard that has Tim Shaw pickups, paf stickers still in place! I would stack it up against any era! Plays and sounds fantastic!
I used to own a 70s Gibson Deluxe. Same color. Gigged with it for most of the 70s. Never should have sold it
Lovely playing, as always, and perfect to feature the guitar. Gibson have recently released a Deluxe with minis and I confess I'm seriously interested in the brighter, tighter sound they offer. The 2023 release is not outrageously expensive. I have a nice 1968 Custom and couple of recent Epiphones with their own version of hum-buckers (which I may replace) but this just (and a few other recent demos) is steering me towards the minis vibe which suits my playing.
Oof, the looping of the reversed notes 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Some people poke fun at the Norlin era Gibsons, but as Tobias shows they are glorious sounding instruments.
I have a Norlin 79 335 ...she is a beauty
@@amancalledlimey With the "witch hat" knobs ? I love those.
@@graemero5532 and with the phase / coil tap secondary switch ..
Does this guitar have a maple neck ?
yes, it has!
@@VintageGuitarOldenburg Thanks
