Fresh Tendrils is the sleeper song on that album! Hard af!
Soundgarden and AiC is the best
All due respect to Freddie and Robert Plant, but Chris is the greatest rock singer of all time, in my opinion. Such range, song writing ability and the ability to effortlessly fluctuate between genres and perfect covers like nobody I've heard seen since him. "No one sings like you anymore."
the last time i can honestly say i was at peace and content, doing a 2000 piece jigsaw when my beloved mother was still here and i was still in hers.had the superunknown and living colour "times up" both albums on repeat till i finished the jigsaw, nicer times.i now can't help but get choked whenever i hear "like suicide" thinking of her, aside from it being one of the best metal songs ever/feel/heart/power wise it's those lyrcs "she lived like a murder how she'd fly so sweetly" what a fucking song hat an album
Wasn’t expecting the Mailman hate lol one of my favorite tracks
“You should see my cookouts. When I was in Seattle, I had the goddamn Spoonman from the Soundgarden video coming to my shit.”
Dude, Superunknown was the Shit back in the 90's!
Now we're talking Unc...
Chris Cornell was the master may he RIP
Bangin. Listen to it every morning
Limo Wreck is incredible. Extremely fun to play on guitar as well. The entire album is 🔥🔥🔥
Fell on black days and the day I tried to live are 2 of my all time favorite songs from my childhood. Long hair, black t-shirts, junior high, nothing better. Fucking literally love you Joey, seriously I’m gonna say something I haven’t before, but I’ve literally been planning my demise and turned you on and you saved my life. I love you to the moon and back cocksuckah!
This whole album rocks. The guitars are in your face the drums are sick the vocals are unbelievable as well as the bass. This album is the best representation of Soundgarden. This is up there as one of the best produced albums of all time. Go back and listen to it. It's timeless.
Album of the week with Joey Diaz in my new muse
never would have i imagined that i needed Unc Joey talking about records so much in my life
Superunknown was my go to in 94-95..”The Day I tried to live” is one of those underrated songs that just draws you in from the start 😊
Superunknown is an absolute masterpiece. There are no bad songs on it and the lyrics of the album hit me hard. 4th of July, Mailman, and Limowreck are probably my favorites.
Fell On Black Days and Head Down(bassist wrote that one) are my favorites on that record. Saw them at Roseland Ballroom in NYC back in the day. They were great!
Greatest album of all time no doubt
4th of July is my favorite
